Outside of tutoring, I love Pilates it keeps me focused, energised, and balanced, which I bring into my teaching as well. Hi there! I am an experienced and empathetic English Literature and Language tutor with over 5 years of experience and many success stories under my belt. I have experience teaching English Literature and English Language for the following levels and exam boards: A-Level— AQA, OCR, WJEC Eduqas; GCSE— AQA, OCR, WJEC Eduqas; Key Stage 3, as well as the 11+ exams. I'm also very interested in tutoring students at the undergraduate level. I only (fluently) speak English, and I do not have any SEN tutoring experience. In 2021, I graduated from the English Master's programme at the University of Liverpool with a strong Distinction and a highly commended dissertation. I had also previously completed a BA at UoL, and received As and A*s in my English Literature A-Level and GCSEs. My Master's degree specialised in contemporary and modern literature, but I love Victorian, Renaissance and classic lit too! I'm a bit of a nerd for literary theory and poetry in particular (my MA dissertation even drew on my experience of teaching poetry to young people).

I’m a 4th-year medical student who enjoys finding a balance between academics and creativity. When I’m not studying or working on university projects, I love going to the beach to surfing. I also enjoy being on stage and taking part in theatre productions, as acting allows me to express myself in a completely different way. In quieter moments, I like to dabble in a bit of art through painting and crafts, and more recently I’ve started learning how to crochet, which has been both fun and rewarding.
