Hi, I’m Isabelle. I am an undergraduate student studying Biomedical Systems Engineering at the University of Warwick. While in Year 12, I helped students who were struggling with maths in booster sessions offered by my school. These were targeted at Year 11 students to ensure they were confident before their exams. During my A-levels I taught myself AS-level Further Maths as it was not a subject offered by my school. This helped me to discover effective methods to learn and understand content. I became Head Girl of my school and engaged in student council meetings, which allowed me to understand how we can help students more. My name is Gemma and I am an English and Drama Graduate from Exeter University, 2:1 with a Creative Writing Dissertation. I have aspirations in teaching at Secondary School level and classroom and mentoring experience. I have worked for a year post graduation as a Sabbatical Officer in the Students Union. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing poetry and performing. I achieved 1x 7, 2x 8, 2x A* and 7x 9 in my GCSE's and 3x A at A level in English, Drama and Philosophy and Ethics. I took a gap year working, and volunteered in my school supporting extracurricular drama, and I have since returned 3x with paid opportunities, 2x teaching in music and drama.
