I’m a second-year Mathematics student at the University of Manchester and I really enjoy helping others build confidence in Maths. I have experience tutoring as well as working as a football coach with children, which has taught me how to explain ideas clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a positive and supportive environment. My aim is always to make lessons approachable and enjoyable while helping students make steady progress. For context, I achieved 91% in my first year at university and received A*s in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics at A level. Currently, I am a student at the University of Manchester working towards a BSc in Mathematics. I'm about to move into my second year, after scoring 91% in my first year exams. For A levels, I attended King Ecgbert school in Sheffield, where I achieved A*A*A* in Maths, further Maths and physics. I also attended King Ecgbert school for secondary school, and I attained six grade 9s (including Maths) and three grade 8s at GCSE.

Hi! I'm a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Birmingham, tutoring Maths and Science across GCSE and A Level. I got an A* in Chemistry, an A in Biology and an A in Maths at A Level, so I've been where you are, staring at past papers wondering if it'll ever click. Trust me it will. What makes me different? I won't just give you the answer. I will show you how to tackle questions and understand mark schemes better than ever before. These subjects trip people up for the same reason: you need to visualise problems, follow logical steps and remember key facts, all at once whilst trying not to fall intro traps set by the exam boards. I've done informal tutoring with friends and family, and the biggest lesson I've learned is students don't need someone smarter than them but instead they need someone patient, who explains things properly, ensure that they understand, and never makes them feel silly for asking twice. Expect sessions built around real exam technique, spotting how questions are phrased, and turning "I sort of get it" into "I've got this." I'll adapt to how you learn best diagrams, worked examples, or talking it through. Whatever works best for you. If you want a tutor who still remembers being stuck on a tricky question at 11pm, I'm your person. I attended Lancaster Royal Grammar School and I am currently a Student at the University of Birmingham studying a Masters in Chemical Engineering. I have an A* in Chemistry, an A in Maths and an A in biology. I specialise in teaching Science and Maths at a GCSE level and Chemistry and Maths at an A-Level standard.

Hello! My name is Ria, and I am a Chemical Engineering graduate with Honours from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where I completed my degree in November 2025. I am passionate about education and enjoy helping students build confidence in their abilities. While I primarily tutor Mathematics, I can also assist with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I am comfortable teaching learners from Grade R through Grade 12, although I particularly enjoy working with younger students between the ages of 6 and 12, as this is such an important stage for building strong academic foundations. Throughout my academic journey, I have informally tutored family members, friends, and classmates from high school through to university level. These experiences taught me that every student learns differently, which is why I tailor my teaching style to suit each individual learner. I strive to create a calm, patient, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they learn. My goal as a tutor is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop confidence, curiosity, and a positive attitude towards learning. I believe that when students understand concepts clearly and feel supported, they are capable of achieving far more than they may initially believe. During my time at university, I also worked on a biogas research project in a laboratory setting, where I gained valuable problem-solving and analytical skills. I enjoy sharing real-world examples from science and engineering to make learning more engaging and relatable for students. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, running, and spending time at the beach. I look forward to helping students grow in confidence, strengthen their understanding, and build the skills they need to achieve their goals and dreams. My academic journey has been shaped by a strong passion for mathematics, science, and problem-solving. I graduated with a Chemical Engineering degree with Honours from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) in South Africa in November 2025. Throughout my studies, I developed a solid foundation in mathematics, physics, chemistry, process engineering, and analytical thinking, while also learning how to approach complex problems in a logical and structured manner. Chemical engineering is a challenging and multidisciplinary field that combines scientific principles with practical problem-solving to design and improve industrial processes. During my degree, I studied a wide range of subjects, including advanced mathematics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, reaction engineering, process control, and process design. These subjects strengthened both my technical knowledge and my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively. One of the most rewarding aspects of my academic career was participating in research and design projects. I worked on a biogas enrichment research project that focused on improving the methane content of biogas through water scrubbing techniques. This project involved laboratory work, experimental design, data analysis, and technical presentations. Through this experience, I developed strong analytical, research, and communication skills while gaining hands-on laboratory experience. In addition, I completed several engineering design projects involving distillation design, reactor design, process simulation, process optimisation, and process control. These projects required the use of engineering software and the application of theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. They also strengthened my teamwork, problem-solving, and project management abilities. Throughout my academic journey, I have regularly assisted family members, friends, and classmates with their studies, ranging from school-level mathematics and science to university-level engineering concepts. These experiences helped me develop a patient and adaptable teaching style and reinforced my passion for education. My academic background has equipped me with not only strong technical knowledge but also the ability to explain concepts in a clear, engaging, and accessible way. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in their abilities, develop strong foundations in their subjects, and achieve their academic goals.

Hi! I’m Ananth, a University of Warwick student here to help you crush your exams. having recently been through the system myself, I know exactly what examiners are looking for. I achieved A*A*A*A* in my A-Levels (Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Economics) and Grade 9s across almost all my GCSE subjects. I have extensive experience mentoring peers in school and currently teach GCSE Maths to private students. My lessons are interactive and tailored to your specific learning style. I don't just teach the content; I teach the revision habits and exam techniques that helped me succeed. Let's work together to get you the grades you deserve! I am a BSc Discrete Mathematics undergraduate at the University of Warwick with a proven track record of academic excellence, having achieved A*A*A*A* at A-Level (Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Economics) alongside eight Grade 9s and one Grade 8 at GCSE. Having navigated these rigorous exams successfully, I understand exactly what examiners look for. I'm Oscar, a mathematics tutor with an Integrated Master's in Mathematics (First Class honours) from the University of Bath. I am now based in Berlin and am currently completing a MSc in Mathematics at Freie Universität with a focus in graph theory and network science. I've been tutoring maths (and sometimes chess!) both online and in-person for over a year now, and I have enjoyed every moment of it; I like to focus on building a deep conceptual understanding for each student, rather than just simply teaching pattern-matching to exam questions. Tailoring the way I teach to the unique way in which each student learns is one of my favourite parts of getting to know a new student. I attended Ilkley Grammar School in West Yorkshire, England between the ages of 11-18. Here I attained 10 GCSEs (all A*s), 3 A-levels in Maths (A*), Further Maths (A*) and English Literature (A*) alongside an AS-level in Physics (a). I then enrolled at the University of Bath in 2022 on an Integrated Master's course in mathematics, graduating in July 2026 with first class honours and a grade of 84% on my final year dissertation in Probability Theory. I am currently enrolled at Freie Universität and will be completing an MSc in Mathematics, specialising in Graph Theory and Network Science.
