Hi everyone, my name's Saoban, but you can call me Sao. I’m a medical student whose focus is on Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, but I can teach a range of subjects. My academic background is science-focused, which medicine requires a strong foundation in. I apply this directly in my teaching. Outside of teaching and medicine, I’m interested in fitness, health science, and personal development. I enjoy understanding how the body works and how small improvements compound over time - I find the same principle applies to studying. I am a third-year medical student with exposure to core pre-clinical sciences (biology, chemistry, biochemistry) at a university level I completed my GCSEs (including triple science) in Sherborne Qatar senior school, and moved to Doha College for my ALevels (Biology, Chemistry, Maths)

I am currently studying Medicine at the university of Liverpool :) I love to read and also am a huge fan of baking. I also love to be active and play a bunch of different sports and go for walks. My family are from Sri Lanka which is amazing, and I love to travel when I get the chance to. I achieved all 9s in GCSE apart from an 8 in Drama and Physics. I also did four alevels and achieved a A* in Mathematics, A in Biology, A in chemistry and a B in further maths. I am currently studying medicine at the university of Liverpool. During school I especially enjoyed my maths and chemistry and currently do really enjoy learning biology whilst at university. I have just graduated from BSc (hons) Biomedical science with Anatomy with a first class. I know studying can be hard and sometimes knowing the content isn't enough. I have been tutored myself in the past, and so I know first hand what methods work and how student specific tailoring is key! I have been tutoring with GoStudent for almost a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I am a fourth-year medical student with a strong passion for helping others achieve their academic goals. While I was always a relatively capable student, I learned early on that success didn’t come without hard work, sacrifice, and most importantly, support.
