At A-Level, I studied Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry, achieving high grades in all three. Alongside my A-Levels, I completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) on antibiotic resistance, an area of real scientific relevance. This independent research project developed my ability to think critically, evaluate complex information, and communicate ideas in a clear, structured way—skills that are essential for academic success and effective exam technique. I am currently a medical student, a highly competitive course that reflects both my academic ability and commitment to excellence. Hi, I’m Jade Flynn, a friendly and passionate Math and English teacher. I love helping students learn with confidence and enjoy. I make my lessons fun and easy to understand by using real-life examples, activities, and clear explanations. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and turning simple moments into learning opportunities. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in Mathematics, and I am also TEFL certified. My training helped me learn how to teach clearly, manage my class well, and adjust my lessons to different learning styles. I always aim to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable, and ready to succeed.

I am a Masters student studying Applied Mathematics at the University of Birmingham, with a first-class degree in Mathematics from Aston University. I help GCSE and A-level students build confidence by explaining topics clearly, starting with simple examples and gradually working towards exam-style questions. I am patient, friendly and adaptable, and I take time to identify where each student is struggling. I achieved 988877776 in GCSEs from Sandwell Academy with a 9 in mathematics and then continued my A-Levels at Sandwell Academy achieving ABC in Mathematics, Economics and Further Mathematics respectively. I then attended Aston University achieving a strong first-class honours degree in mathematics. I now am undertaking a master’s degree in applied mathematics from the University of Birmingham.
