Currently I am a teacher of Mathematics for secondary education, and I am also teaching adults as part of their CPD. When I am teaching, I use creative and critical thinking techniques to help my students to acquire in-depth understanding of fundamental concepts of mathematics. Part of my teaching consists of games, quizzes and other creative and fun activities that aim to make teaching and learning easier and more enjoyable. I am also interested in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning and how these are based on mathematical thought. I have a degree in Pure Mathematics from the Aristotle University of Greece, an MA in Mathematics Education from Leeds University in the UK and a PGCE in Mathematics from the UK. I have a Qualified Teacher Status to work in UK schools and I have 22 years of work experience in the UK, Greece and Cyprus.

Hi, I’m Kegan Cassidy, a math tutor with a background in Civil Engineering and experience in helping students improve their math skills. I enjoy making math easier to understand by breaking down challenging concepts into simple steps and using practical, real-world examples. My goal is to help students not only find the right answer but also understand the process, build confidence, and develop strong problem-solving skills. Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing the guitar and playing video games I graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematics, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
