I have just started university and I am eager to help my students in a supportive way with a dynamic based on mutual respect. Outside of my studies I love to watch football, go on hikes in the South Downs and read the financial times, as I am of course interested in any developments in markets. I went to Sackville School, East Grinstead and completed 12 GCSE's and one level 2 certificate in Further Maths, all at grade 7 and above. I then progressed to my A-Levels, achieving A*AAA in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics. During my time I also gained a Gold Certificate in the Senior Maths Challenge and participated in the Senior Maths Kangaroo, whilst also participating in the FCDO Next generation Economics essay competition.

I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic tutor with over 1,000 hours of tutoring experience, supporting students across a wide range of ages and abilities. I specialise in Maths and the Sciences, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and have experience teaching across different exam boards. I focus on breaking difficult concepts down into simple, manageable steps and adapting my teaching style to suit each individual student. My lessons are interactive and supportive, with a strong focus on building confidence, improving exam technique and helping students understand the reasoning behind their answers. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their skills. I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at Brunel University London, where my degree has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of biology, chemistry and the wider biomedical sciences. Before university, I studied Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-Level at King’s College Taunton, giving me a strong academic foundation across both mathematics and the sciences. Alongside my own education, I have gained over 1,000 hours of tutoring experience, working with students across a wide range of ages, abilities and academic levels. I have taught Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, supporting students from KS2 and KS3 through to GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level. I have also worked with students preparing for the 11+ and have experience adapting lessons for students who require additional support or a different approach to learning. I have taught students following several major UK examination boards, including AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas. This has given me a good understanding of the differences between specifications, assessment styles and mark schemes. I place particular emphasis on exam technique, applying knowledge to unfamiliar questions and helping students understand exactly what examiners are looking for. My tutoring approach is centred around making challenging concepts easier to understand. I break topics down into manageable steps, regularly check understanding and use practice questions to identify and address gaps in knowledge. I adapt my teaching to the individual student rather than using the same approach for everyone, whether they are aiming to secure the fundamentals, improve their confidence or work towards the highest grades. In addition to tutoring, I have experience working with young people as a Summer Sports Camp Coach at King’s College Taunton. This strengthened my communication, leadership and motivational skills and taught me how to keep young people engaged while maintaining a positive and supportive environment. Hi, I’m a Psychology undergraduate with A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals through clear, supportive, and engaging lessons. I offer tutoring for A-Level Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry, as well as GCSE Combined Science, Biology and Chemistry. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students face and can explain difficult concepts in a simple and relatable way. I believe that though hard work you can achieve anything you put your mind too! I am currently studying a Biomedical Engineering degree, but having only recently left secondary education I hope that I will be able to support and guide students towards their goals. I offer Biology, Physics and Maths. I studied my GCSEs and A-levels at my local secondary school, I received 4 As at A-level (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). I have always enjoyed science and Maths hence why I decided to study Biomedical Engineering at the Univeristy of Sheffield.
