I would describe my teaching style as engaging and adaptable I maintain an open stance towards feedback and novel ideas. I encourage my students to think beyond conventional boundaries, nurturing their unique style and thought paradigm. I strive to push them to present convincing and innovative points. However, I make lessons very practical; there is a science behind English and I can teach anybody how to improve because I know that. I am passionate about English because I believe it is an evergreen discipline. I love the theories and conversations that English illuminates and evokes in all its forms. Studying English language and literature was truly inspiring for me. My A level studies encompassed a multi-modal exploration, including speeches, plays, books, diaries, interviews, poems, comics, and blogs. This comprehensive exploration challenged me to grasp the nuanced aspects of communication, persuasion and emotion. Moreover, it granted me the opportunity to glean insights from numerous authors representing diverse cultural and historical backgrounds. Hence, I am a better communicator and empathetic person which shines through my teaching. Hi, I’m Sean Brown, a passionate and dedicated science teacher who enjoys making learning meaningful, engaging, and accessible to every student. I believe science is more than memorizing facts—it’s about understanding how the world works and developing curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. As a tech-savvy educator, I enjoy integrating digital tools, multimedia resources, visual aids, and interactive activities into my lessons to make challenging concepts easier to understand. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, exploring ideas, and learning at their own pace. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, major in Physical Sciences, which provided me with a strong foundation in Physics, Chemistry, and other areas of science, along with effective teaching strategies and classroom practices. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Education, majoring in General Science, further developing my knowledge and skills in science education.
