I'm an undergraduate Economics BSC student at the University of Warwick. I achieved four A*s at A Level and I have 3 years of tutoring experience already. My goal is to help my students to achieve the best grades they can, regardless of which stage of education they are in as well as offer student advice on applying to university (should they be an A-Level student), having gone through the process recently. My teaching follows a structured learning plan, tailored to what my students are currently doing in school and the requirements of the national curriculum for their age group. I attended a grammar school through GCSE and A-Levels where I received 11A*s and 1A. I then took my A-Levels in German, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics where I received four A*s. I am currently studying Ec...

Hi! I'm a friendly, supportive and enthusiastic tutor specialising in GCSE Biology and Chemistry, as well as A-level Biology. I achieved A*AA at A-level in these subjects and am currently studying Podiatry at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Alongside my studies, I have over two years of tutoring experience and also work as a teaching assistant, supporting both mainstream and SEN students across a wide range of ages and abilities. This experience has helped me develop a patient, adaptable teaching style that is tailored to each student's individual needs and learning preferences. My lessons focus on building confidence, developing a strong understanding of key concepts, and improving exam technique. I have created detailed PowerPoints, topic-specific Quizlet flashcards, and past paper question booklets for every topic, giving students access to high-quality resources both during and outside of lessons. We will work through topics together step by step before applying your knowledge using exam-style questions and mark schemes, helping you understand exactly what examiners are looking for. Every lesson is personalised around your goals, whether that's catching up on difficult topics, improving confidence, or achieving the highest grades. I adapt my teaching to suit the way you learn best, whether that's through diagrams, mind maps, videos, active recall, practice questions, or simply talking concepts through together. I also have extensive experience supporting students with additional learning needs and understand that every student learns differently. Between sessions, I'll set small personalised tasks to reinforce what we've covered, and you'll have full access to all of my revision resources, including Quizlet flashcards, topic notes, and past papers. I'm always happy to answer questions between lessons and provide extra support whenever it's needed. Whether you're aiming to pass your exams, boost your confidence, or achieve top grades, I'll provide the support, encouragement and structure to help you reach your full potential. I went to Wirral Grammar School for Girls, where I achieved grade 9s in all of my GCSEs. At A Level, I studied Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, and earned A*AA. I’m currently studying Podiatry at university, a healthcare course that combines my love of science with practical, real-world applications. I enjoy how it brings together anatomy, problem-solving, and patient care in a meaningful way.

I would describe my teaching style as engaging and adaptable I maintain an open stance towards feedback and novel ideas. I encourage my students to think beyond conventional boundaries, nurturing their unique style and thought paradigm. I strive to push them to present convincing and innovative points. However, I make lessons very practical; there is a science behind English and I can teach anybody how to improve because I know that. I am passionate about English because I believe it is an evergreen discipline. I love the theories and conversations that English illuminates and evokes in all its forms. Studying English language and literature was truly inspiring for me. My A level studies encompassed a multi-modal exploration, including speeches, plays, books, diaries, interviews, poems, comics, and blogs. This comprehensive exploration challenged me to grasp the nuanced aspects of communication, persuasion and emotion. Moreover, it granted me the opportunity to glean insights from numerous authors representing diverse cultural and historical backgrounds. Hence, I am a better communicator and empathetic person which shines through my teaching. I am a fourth-year medical student with a strong passion for helping others achieve their academic goals. While I was always a relatively capable student, I learned early on that success didn’t come without hard work, sacrifice, and most importantly, support. During a particularly challenging period in my studies, I met a tutor who completely revitalised my passion for learning and helped me reach my potential. That experience shaped who I am today and inspired me to do the same for others. Academically, I achieved three A grades at A Level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, and all 9s in GCSE in these subjects. Beyond my own studies, I have two years of tutoring experience, beginning in sixth form, where I supported GCSE students across multiple subjects. One example I am especially proud of is helping a student improve from a grade 5 to a grade 8 in GCSE chemistry, by building their confidence, exam technique, and understanding from first principles. My primary role as a tutor is to help you achieve the grades you need and develop a strong, lasting understanding of your subject. However, I also believe learning works best in a supportive environment - so please think of me not just as a tutor, but as someone approachable and encouraging. I’m always happy to answer questions, offer guidance, and support you every step of the way. I attended a comprehensive school until year 10 and then a grammar school from year 10 all the way until year 13. The amazing learning and experiences in both have shaped me to be the man I am today, and enabled me to achieve the grades I needed in GCSE and A-level to now be studying medicine in my 4th year at Aston University. I have over a year of tutoring experience in the sciences and maths from KS2 all the way until A-level and I racked up many 5 star reviews and gave tailored help to each student I taught. Personal academic achievements include being the 2025 winner of the annual Rosalind Franklin essay competition in Aston Medical School completing 2 summer internships in biomedical research and have several research papers in the works for publication.
