I love languages! I am able to teach french and spanish in lower level, GCSE and A-level! I have been tutor for the last 7 years to people that range from 15 to 60 years old. Although I prefer working with adult students, I am also open to working with teenagers! I am experienced in the british exam system. I have been a tutor with GS for more than two years now! :) Being from Colombia, Spanish is my native language. However, I speak English and french fluently and I study other languages such as German, Dutch, Italian and Portuguese. As I have more experience tutoring French, I prefer students that are interested in this language. The thing I love the most about languages is how it broadens your way of thinking to unimagined borders. It's really amazing to understand people from different backgrounds and to see the world from other points of view. Besides languages, I also love creating digital art and dancing. Finally, I work as an engineer in France where I live since 2022! I studied french in the Alliance Française for almost 2 years before going in exchange to France in 2016. When I returned home in 2017, I started giving French lessons and learning how to manage my classes with students of all ages. I've been living, studying and working in France for more than 4 years now! On the tutoring end, I have had one on one Spanish and French classes for almost 8 years now.

I am a fully English-educated student with a strong academic background in Mathematics. I achieved an A in A-Level Mathematics and have over 3 years of tutoring experience, completing 300+ hours of lessons. I have helped many GCSE Maths students improve their grades, with several achieving Grade 8s and 9s. I also participated in the UK Maths Challenge, achieving the highest score in my school, which developed my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Teaching Style My teaching style is student-centred, patient, and adaptable. I first identify the areas a student finds difficult and then break each topic down into simple, manageable steps. I use clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice before encouraging students to tackle questions independently. I place particular emphasis on exam technique. I help students understand different question types, show their working clearly, avoid common mistakes, and apply their knowledge to unfamiliar problems. I adapt each lesson to the student's ability and goals, whether they are aiming to secure a pass or achieve a Grade 8 or 9. Proudest Achievements One of my proudest achievements is helping many GCSE Maths students achieve Grade 8s and 9s. Seeing students progress from struggling with a topic to confidently answering exam-style questions is extremely rewarding and is one of the main reasons I enjoy tutoring. I am a fully English-educated student with a strong academic background. I attend Queen Mary University of London and am currently studying Medicine. My education has provided me with a strong foundation in Mathematics, science, and analytical problem-solving. I achieved an A in A-Level Mathematics and have over 3 years of tutoring experience, with more than 300 hours of teaching. During this time, I have specialised in GCSE Mathematics, working with students of different abilities and helping many students achieve Grade 8s and 9s. My main specialisation is GCSE Mathematics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, number, and problem-solving. I have not yet completed my university degree as I am currently studying Medicine. Hi! I’m Beth, it’s lovely to meet you! I can help you out with maths and science subjects and my aim is to give you the confidence and understanding to do the best that you can in your exams. I will work through difficult areas with you until you are confident and it is no longer anything to worry about. I completed my A-levels in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths a few years ago and achieved 4 A* grades. Before that, I achieved 11 grade 9s at GCSE, including Further Maths and Triple Science. I’m now doing a degree apprenticeship in Digital Technology Solutions BSc while working as an IT consultant. Some of my hobbies/interests include sailing, dog agility and pilates.
