Hi, I’m Caleb Jackson, a passionate and committed math teacher who enjoys guiding students through the fascinating world of mathematics. I aim to make math lessons engaging and meaningful by using interactive methods, practical real-life examples, and thoughtful problem-solving activities that help students grow in confidence and curiosity. I believe that when students feel comfortable and motivated, learning becomes both effective and enjoyable. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Mindanao State University, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematical concepts, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. I'm a first year medical student in London dedicated to teaching my students how to engage with their learning and achieve their academic goals. I tutor for GCSE Maths and Science for a variety of exam boards, such as AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas. As a full time student, I empathise with the difficulties students may encounter while navigating their chosen subjects of study. Having achieved 9-9-9-8 in my GCSEs three years ago, I am certain that I can enable my students to approach their learning with confidence. My first priority as a tutor is making my students feel comfortable with topics they feel are the most daunting, so they can eventually progress to tackling unfamiliar scenarios in questions. I teach using a wide variety of learning techniques, so that my students can explore what works best for them. I'm currently studying at UCl in its Medical School for the Medicine MBBS BSc degree. I achieved A*AA in my A Levels in Biology, Maths and Chemistry. I achieved 9-9-9-8 in Triple Science Higher and Maths. I attended grammar school for the entirety of my school experience.
