I am an effective tutor. I’ve worked with SEN students including students with; dyscalculia, ADHD, dyslexia and autism. Whether you are looking to increase your grade by a little, or a lot I am here to get you to that full potential. I specialise in teaching GCSE maths and have led many students to get top grades. I work based on the students’ needs and I am very much able to adapt to their preferred learning style. I use exam questions from your exam board and continue to practice topics with you until you are fluent As I am a visual learner myself, I work with students particularly through diagrams, visual aids and in depth examples, drawn on interactive whiteboards as well as analogies to explain concepts required for their curriculum and more importantly, the final exam. 👋 About Me My name is Youssef Ahmed, and I’m an English, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology tutor with over four years of tutoring experience. I believe learning works best when you feel comfortable asking questions and have the time and support to understand a topic properly. My lessons combine clear explanations, discussion, and practice, with an approach adapted to your strengths, challenges, and interests. 📚 Subjects I Teach • KS1 and KS2: English, Geography, and Science foundations. • KS3: English, Geography, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. • GCSE: English Language and Literature, Geography, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. 🧑🏫 Teaching Approach I focus on developing understanding alongside the skills needed to apply it. Lessons may include breaking down a difficult concept, discussing a text, working through calculations, or practising exam questions. In English, I help with analysis, essay structure, creative writing, and technical accuracy. In Science and Geography, I support understanding of key concepts, subject vocabulary, problem-solving, and clear written explanations. I use step-by-step guidance and constructive feedback so you can recognise your strengths and understand how to improve. Lessons are structured but flexible, with time to revisit topics or explore more challenging ideas when appropriate. 🌱 SEND Experience I have hands-on experience supporting students with ADHD, dyslexia, and autism. I adapt lesson pace, instructions, materials, and activities to individual needs and preferences. I aim to create a patient, respectful environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and develop confidence in your own abilities. 📝 Exam Board Experience I have practical experience teaching across all GCSE exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, WJEC/Eduqas, OCR, and CCEA. I tailor lessons and exam practice to each board’s specification, question styles, and marking criteria. 🎓 Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. • TEFL/TESOL certified. 💬 Languages • Fluent in English. • Native Arabic speaker. 📧 Contact: ya147565@gmail.com 🎓 Education Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management Focused on leadership, strategy, and organizational skills, enhancing my teaching ability through clear communication, problem solving, and real world application of business concepts to help students connect theory with practice effectively.

Hi, I’m Maja! (Pronounced Maya). I’m an astrophysics graduate and a qualified secondary school science teacher. I’ve been through the full rollercoaster of science education, from fighting my way through a master’s degree and emerging with first-class honours, to teaching Year 9s on a Friday afternoon who would rather be anywhere else. Now I help GCSE and A-Level students believe what I already know: you can do this. My goal is to make science feel understandable, interesting, and even a bit fun. When I’m not teaching, you'll find me hanging upside down on an aerial hoop, or writing stories inspired by science and folklore. I went to secondary school in Hungary, where I was initially more interested in the humanities, until I fell in love with space and modern physics. For my leaving qualifications, I completed Advanced Exams in Mathematics and Physics and achieved an A. At university, I completed an integrated Master of Physics degree at the University of Southampton. My first three years focused on general physics (including lab work, mechanics, quantum physics, solid state physics, and wave physics) with a few modules of astronomy. During my master’s year, I had the incredible opportunity to conduct research at the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, where I studied the relationship between black holes and their host galaxies and wrote my thesis on this topic. I graduated with first-class honours in Astrophysics. After university, I felt drawn to education and wanted to help students grasp the beauty of science, so I completed a year of school-centred initial teacher training. I now hold a PGCE with QTS as a qualified science teacher.

Hello, I’m Ambrin, an experienced tutor with several years of experience teaching a wide range of subjects to UK students of different ages, up to A-level. The subjects I will be tutoring include: * 11+ Exam Preparation * Business Management * English * Maths (up to GCSE) * Human Resources I enjoy making learning clear, engaging and tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. My approach focuses not only on improving subject knowledge, but also on developing confidence, problem-solving skills and critical thinking. I’m excited about the opportunity to work with GoStudent and support students in reaching their academic goals through patient, personalised and encouraging tuition. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, specialising in Human Resources, supported by a strong academic background in Business from GCSE through to higher education. My studies, alongside my professional experience, have allowed me to develop strong analytical, written communication and numerical skills. I have several years of tutoring experience, particularly in Maths, working with students from primary school through to GCSE level. I have also supported students across English, Business and other core subjects, adapting my teaching methods to suit different abilities and learning styles. Through my tutoring experience, I have developed the ability to identify areas where students may be struggling and explain challenging topics in a simpler, more accessible way. I focus on strengthening understanding, improving academic performance and encouraging students to become more independent and confident in their learning.

I have been tutoring with GoStudent for almost a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Prior to my degree, I took three A-Levels in History, Maths and English, receiving all A*s, and prior to that, ten GCSEs, receiving all 9s.
