My name is Aminah, and I’m an Accounting and Finance student at Aston University with a strong academic background in Maths and a passion for helping students feel more confident and capable in the subject. Having recently gone through the exam process myself, I understand the challenges that KS1 to GCSE students face, and I’m well-equipped to guide them with effective study techniques, structured support, and encouragement. My academic journey has given me a strong foundation in maths and a clear sense of how to explain concepts in a way that is simple, engaging, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I believe that though hard work you can achieve anything you put your mind too! I am currently studying a Biomedical Engineering degree, but having only recently left secondary education I hope that I will be able to support and guide students towards their goals. I offer Biology, Physics and Maths. I studied my GCSEs and A-levels at my local secondary school, I received 4 As at A-level (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). I have always enjoyed science and Maths hence why I decided to study Biomedical Engineering at the Univeristy of Sheffield.

My name is Qasim and I want to teach you as I am a motivated teacher wanting to push students' grades higher than what they are currently. I believe I am a fun and immersive teacher who can help you to enjoy the content that you are struggling on. Having already tutored multiple students before, I believe I can be someone who can push you to do your best and achieve the grades you didn’t think you could have. I completed my education at Queen Mary University of London, completed a degree in Aerospace Engineering achieving a First Class Honors. I am now working as an aerospace engineer at GE in Wales, working in multiple different sections of the business.

My name is Gemma and I am an English and Drama Graduate from Exeter University, 2:1 with a Creative Writing Dissertation. I have aspirations in teaching at Secondary School level and classroom and mentoring experience. I have worked for a year post graduation as a Sabbatical Officer in the Students Union. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing poetry and performing. I achieved 1x 7, 2x 8, 2x A* and 7x 9 in my GCSE's and 3x A at A level in English, Drama and Philosophy and Ethics. I took a gap year working, and volunteered in my school supporting extracurricular drama, and I have since returned 3x with paid opportunities, 2x teaching in music and drama. I went to Exeter University and studied English and Drama acheiving a 2:1 and departmental commendation for contributing to the life of the department. During my time at University I took on leadership and mentoring roles in extracurricular and this led me to my current position as a Sabbatical Officer advocating for Students in the University.
