I am a fully English-educated student with a strong academic background in Mathematics. I achieved an A in A-Level Mathematics and have over 3 years of tutoring experience, completing 300+ hours of lessons. I have helped many GCSE Maths students improve their grades, with several achieving Grade 8s and 9s. I also participated in the UK Maths Challenge, achieving the highest score in my school, which developed my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Teaching Style My teaching style is student-centred, patient, and adaptable. I first identify the areas a student finds difficult and then break each topic down into simple, manageable steps. I use clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice before encouraging students to tackle questions independently. I place particular emphasis on exam technique. I help students understand different question types, show their working clearly, avoid common mistakes, and apply their knowledge to unfamiliar problems. I adapt each lesson to the student's ability and goals, whether they are aiming to secure a pass or achieve a Grade 8 or 9. Proudest Achievements One of my proudest achievements is helping many GCSE Maths students achieve Grade 8s and 9s. Seeing students progress from struggling with a topic to confidently answering exam-style questions is extremely rewarding and is one of the main reasons I enjoy tutoring. My education has provided me with a strong foundation in Mathematics, science, and analytical problem-solving. During this time, I have specialised in GCSE Mathematics, working with students of different abilities and helping many students achieve Grade 8s and 9s. My main specialisation is GCSE Mathematics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, number, and problem-solving. I also have extensive experience with exam preparation, helping students improve their exam technique, identify common mistakes, and approach unfamiliar questions with greater confidence. I have not yet completed my university degree as I am currently studying Medicine. My academic and tutoring experience has allowed me to develop strong communication, patience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, which I apply to every lesson.

Hi. I teach maths. My best skill is making making topics which feel very over complicated at first into much more understandable and simple concepts. My past experience is within working with at Harvard for a professor, competing in many mathematics competitions all around the UK and studying higher level institutional maths. Besides maths I love room interior design, Fruitiger aero aesthetic and 3d printing. I have currently just finished my studies. I am now looking to apply and pursue PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) at Oxford University. I have previously studied Maths, Further Maths and Economics. My experience within maths would be my previous work at Harvard University, my many experiences at maths competitions all across London and as well as my personal studies of higher level institutional mathematics.

About me: I am a Taiwanese girl living in South Africa. I am able to speak both English and Mandarin fluently. I have worked as a translator and tour interpreter for Mandarin speaking delegates before and I have been living in South Africa for 20+ years. I am able to teach English from beginner stage up to advanced level. I prefer teaching students between the ages of 12 to 18. I also have experience in teaching English to adults. I love reading novels in my spare time and I love watching anime and reading manga. I studied Homoeopathy at Durban University of Technology and graduated with a Master of Technology degree in Homoeopathy.
