Hi! I'm Favour, I have experience tutoring students who are studying English language and Literature for their GCSE's. As a tutor I aim to breakdown questions & lessons to go along with the students' pace. During lessons I use the students interest to channel their learning & I am patient to ensure they get the most of the time. For example I once used a students' sports interest to breakdown the structure question in the AQA language paper 1 question 3. What I love the most about tutoring (apart from spreading knowledge of course) is getting to know, learn and see students develop. My name is Gemma and I am an English and Drama Graduate from Exeter University, 2:1 with a Creative Writing Dissertation. I have aspirations in teaching at Secondary School level and classroom and mentoring experience. I have worked for a year post graduation as a Sabbatical Officer in the Students Union. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing poetry and performing. I achieved 1x 7, 2x 8, 2x A* and 7x 9 in my GCSE's and 3x A at A level in English, Drama and Philosophy and Ethics. I took a gap year working, and volunteered in my school supporting extracurricular drama, and I have since returned 3x with paid opportunities, 2x teaching in music and drama. I went to Exeter University and studied English and Drama acheiving a 2:1 and departmental commendation for contributing to the life of the department. During my time at University I took on leadership and mentoring roles in extracurricular and this led me to my current position as a Sabbatical Officer advocating for Students in the University.

I'm an Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at Queen Mary University of London who enjoys helping students succeed in Maths and Physics. I explain concepts clearly, adapt to each student's learning style, and aim to build confidence as well as strong subject knowledge. I am currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Queen Mary University of London and will be entering my final year this September.
