Hi, I’m Nushra Imtiyas a passionate and dedicated teacher of Mathematics and English, committed to helping students grow in both confidence and ability. I believe learning should never feel overwhelming, but instead be engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable. Whether it’s analysing a text or solving a challenging Maths problem, I design lessons that spark curiosity and build independent thinking. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, clear, and relatable steps, making learning easier and more effective. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered, where students are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and actively participate. In English, learners explore characters, themes, and real-life connections, while in Maths, concepts are linked to everyday situations to make them practical and easy to understand. I use visuals, real-world examples, guided practice, and engaging activities to support every learner. Most importantly, I focus on building confidence step by step, celebrating progress and helping students move from “I don’t understand” to “I’ve got this.” Beyond teaching, I enjoy reading, playing netball, and jogging, which helps me stay energetic, focused, and positive in every lesson. For me, teaching is not just about academics it is about inspiring confidence, developing resilience, and helping students reach their full potential. I graduated with a degree in Software Engineering, with a strong focus on English, Mathematics, and Information Technology. This combination has given me a balanced approach to teaching, blending logical thinking with creativity. Over the past six years, I have taught and tutored students of different ages and abilities, which has helped me grow not only as a teacher but also as a supportive mentor. My academic background has strengthened my understanding of language, problem-solving, and effective communication. Through my experience, I have developed the ability to plan lessons that are clear, engaging, and well-structured, making learning feel manageable rather than overwhelming. I adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs, whether a student benefits more from visuals, discussions, hands-on practice, or step-by-step guidance. Most importantly, I aim to create a warm, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. I am currently a fourth year student studying medicine. I tailor engaging lessons to inspire understanding and confidence and I am committed to empowering students for success since five years. As a fellow student I know what it is like and will try my best to provide friendly yet helpful lessons. I attended Bourne Grammar School, where I completed my GCSEs and A-levels, achieving excellent results that reflected my dedication to academic success. Currently, I am a fourth-year medical student, continuing to build on my passion for medicine and patient care.

I am a medical student at UCL with a strong academic background, having achieved A* grades at A-level in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. I have a genuine passion for teaching and enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts in a clear and structured way. Having recently completed GCSEs and A-levels myself, I understand current exam specifications, common pitfalls, and effective revision strategies. My teaching style is supportive and tailored to each student’s needs, focusing on building strong foundations, confidence, and exam technique. I aim not only to help students improve their grades, but also to develop their independence, motivation, and long-term love for learning. I am currently studying Medicine at University College London (UCL), a highly academic and research-led medical school. I attended Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School, where I developed a strong academic foundation and a disciplined approach to learning. Throughout my education, I consistently achieved high academic standards, particularly in Maths and the sciences. At A-level, I achieved 3A*, reflecting both my subject knowledge and my ability to manage a demanding workload. I also achieved full marks in my EPQ, which strengthened my independent research, critical thinking, and academic writing skills. This project required analysing complex information, evaluating evidence, and presenting clear, well-structured arguments—skills that are directly transferable to both medicine and teaching. As a current medical student, I continue to build on this strong educational background through rigorous study and application of scientific knowledge. My academic journey has equipped me with excellent organisation, resilience, and communication skills, which I bring into my tutoring by delivering clear explanations, structured lessons, and tailored support to help students achieve their full potential.

Mechanical Engineer, incredibly passionate about teaching, precisely Mathematics; -LC/A-level Math (I would love to have A-level trials as a priority for now if possible) -JC/GCSE Math - primary level Math(11+) Languages: English, French, Arabic Having a couple of years of experience, I find that it's extremely efficient to build a genuine friendly relationship with my students accompanied with respect, the right ethical mannerism, and last but not least, pleasure, because learning is highly interesting when the tutor is ready and thrilled to deliver his absolute best in the most suitable way. I am glad that I now have a one year of GoStudent experience with over a thousand completed sessions, consequently, I know what it takes for a student to be interested in an online session and how make him/her feel welcomed and non-hesitant about asking any question that comes to mind. I would love to focus on taking A-level students at the moment. I successfully completed my A-levels back in 2018, and I'm currently a mechanical engineering student in university, aiming to gain simultaneous work experience in both engineering and online tutoring. My academic background includes a strong foundation in core subjects such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Additionally, I have pursued specialized coursework in engineering principles and mechanical systems, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the field.
