Hi, I’m Safoora, currently a third-year medical student with a strong passion for education across a range of subjects. Medicine has taught me not just the importance of hard work, but also how to communicate complex ideas clearly and patiently — skills I bring into my tutoring sessions. I tutor GCSE Biology, chemistry, combined science and psychology, as well as KS3 and KS2 Science. Hi! I’m Mehmood,20 years old and currently studying medicine (MBBS) at Hull York Medical School. While I absolutely love studying, I have many other passions that burn just as brightly: I’m into sports, gym, and cycling, and I’m always open to trying new ones! Some cool facts about me: I speak English, Pashto and Urdu. I attended St. Peter's RC High School in Gorton, where I studied separate sciences, business, geography, religious studies, and core subjects, achieving 6 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s. I then studied biology, psychology, and chemistry at Loreto Sixth Form College, earning A*AB in my A-levels. During my medical school application, I achieved a UCAT score of 2750 Band 1, securing four medical school interviews and ultimately firming Hull York Medical School—where I am currently studying medicine (MBBS). Alongside my academic journey, I’ve been a private tutor for the past two years, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades in science and math. I also completed a 3-week teaching internship at COOP Academy, delivering science lessons to Year 8 and 9 students. Additionally, I’ve gained valuable clinical experience working in GP practices and hospital settings, consulting with patients and developing strong communication and empathy skills. My educational background reflects a strong foundation in science and a passion for teaching. Je m'appelle Chloé (my name is Chloé) and I am a French native speaker :) As travelling and getting to know new cultures and languages is a real passion of mine, I am very excited to share my own; French culture and language. I myself had to learn a language that is not my native language (English) so I definitely know how challenging it is for my students to learn a new language. Therefore I can particularly help my students to overcome the fears they can have to learn a new language and truly put myself in their shoes. As it worked for me, I like to give lively interactive lessons using images or videos to optimise memory and focus. I also encourage my student to speak as much as possible, as I believe it is the best way to learn any language : 'PARLER, PARLER, PARLER'. I am the most experienced in giving lessons from Primary to GCSE level. I also have some experience in teaching A Levels and most particularly with adult learners and travellers. I have experience in private French and Art lessons with children aged 6 to 15. My interests include: travelling : I travelled and lived in over 11 countries and got to know very diverse cultures all over the world. Important : please note that I do not teach English anymore. Teaching Art : I have an Art and design BTEC and studied a BA at the university of the Arts of London (UAL) and currently studying at les beaux arts of Paris and have been a practicing artist ever since. There I got the ESOL Entry 2 (NQF) and the IELTS ( grade 6.5) followed by the BTEC in Art & Design (equivalent to the bacalaureat) and then moved forward to a Fine art BA at UAL. Currently, I am in my third year of BA at Les beaux Arts of Paris ; where the French literary level is very high and sustained. In other words, I'll be very comfortable in both language to give you the clearest French lessons and to support you all along throughout the learning path you're taking!
