Hi, I’m Lydia! I completed my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Economics and I’m currently a solicitor apprentice at a top law firm. I tutor GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Economics, and I enjoy helping students break down difficult topics into clear, manageable steps. I’m a 4th-year medical student studying abroad, with a strong academic background in A-Level Maths, Chemistry and Biology, achieving A grades in all three subjects. I offer tutoring in GCSE and A-Level Maths, Biology and Chemistry, and I’m passionate about helping students build both their confidence and understanding of the subjects. I first gained teaching experience through mentoring students during high school, particularly in GCSE Maths and Biology. Since then, I’ve worked with a number of students over the past few years, helping them work towards their academic goals and make significant progress. Seeing students become more confident and independent in their learning is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring for me. My name is Gemma and I am an English and Drama Graduate from Exeter University, 2:1 with a Creative Writing Dissertation. I have aspirations in teaching at Secondary School level and classroom and mentoring experience. I have worked for a year post graduation as a Sabbatical Officer in the Students Union. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing poetry and performing. I achieved 1x 7, 2x 8, 2x A* and 7x 9 in my GCSE's and 3x A at A level in English, Drama and Philosophy and Ethics. I took a gap year working, and volunteered in my school supporting extracurricular drama, and I have since returned 3x with paid opportunities, 2x teaching in music and drama. I went to Exeter University and studied English and Drama acheiving a 2:1 and departmental commendation for contributing to the life of the department. During my time at University I took on leadership and mentoring roles in extracurricular and this led me to my current position as a Sabbatical Officer advocating for Students in the University.
