Hi, I'm Neha, a medical student at King's College London with a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics and I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. My tutoring style is patient, supportive and structured. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, helping students understand the logic behind what they are learning rather than relying on memorisation. Whether a student is aiming for top grades or looking to improve their confidence, I strive to create a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their understanding. I achieved A* grades in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics at A Level, and Grade 9s in all 10 GCSE subjects, including Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, and Computer Science. My academic achievements include Bronze awards in both the UK Biology Olympiad and UK Chemistry Olympiad (2024), Gold awards in the UKMT Mathematics Challenge (2019–2021) and a High Merit in Grade 6 LAMDA Public Speaking (2024). I was also the winner of the Behavioural Sciences category at my school Science Fair. Through my studies, I have developed strong subject knowledge, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills. My specialisms are Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and medicine application mentoring, and I am passionate about helping students build confidence, deepen their understanding, and achieve their academic goals.

Hi! I’m Beth, it’s lovely to meet you! I can help you out with maths and science subjects and my aim is to give you the confidence and understanding to do the best that you can in your exams. I will work through difficult areas with you until you are confident and it is no longer anything to worry about. I completed my A-levels in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths a few years ago and achieved 4 A* grades. Before that, I achieved 11 grade 9s at GCSE, including Further Maths and Triple Science. I’m now doing a degree apprenticeship in Digital Technology Solutions BSc while working as an IT consultant. Some of my hobbies/interests include sailing, dog agility and pilates.

I have been tutoring with GoStudent for over a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a former Sunday-School teacher and volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Prior to my degree, I took three A-Levels in History, Maths and English, receiving all A*s, and prior to that, ten GCSEs, receiving all 9s. I am currently studying for a part-time master's degree in architectural history at Cambridge.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics, in 2013 and later completed a Master of Education in Mathematics in 2018. With a decade of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full academic potential. I utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials, including online resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed. My approach focuses on guiding students toward their educational goals, whether transitioning to postsecondary education, pursuing vocational paths, or achieving personal growth. I continuously assess and document both the academic and social progress of my students, maintaining thorough records and analyzing data to inform my teaching strategies. To keep parents and guardians involved, I communicate regularly through multiple channels and hold conferences as needed to discuss individual progress, aligning with school requirements and ensuring a collaborative approach to each student's development.
