Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a final year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University. Currently on track for a 1st class degree. I also achieved 9 GCSEs, ranging from 7-9, which allowed me to study Chemistry, Economics and Maths. Along with gaining an A* in my EPQ, which I completed in year 12, giving me crucial skills that I have carried forward to my degree. I have been tutoring for over 2 years. During this time, I have helped prepare primary school students for their SATS and gained more confidence with maths in the classroom. I also prepared year 11 and 13 students for their GCSE and A levels by covering content they were unsure of and practising exam techniques. I previously gained experience mentoring GCSE students at my school. I am a student with dyslexia, so I understand the challenges students face in classroom settings. Anyone can be successful, which is why my sessions are student-led, so that they are catered towards each individual's learning style. If you are unsure of this throughout my school career, I have learnt different methods that work for me and would love to pass them on to others so that we can find a technique that works for you. I attended Rugby School, where I completed my GCSEs and A levels, and now I have gone on to study for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University, where I have just completed a summer internship at PwC, which has lead to a full time graduate offer for September 2027. Having studied Chemistry, Economics and Maths at A level, I offer tutoring for students up to and including year 11 in Maths, Science and Chemistry.

I completed my Bachelor of Education Degree in Senior and FET PHASE, majoring in Mathematics, Geography and IsiZulu Home Language with University of Pretoria. I also did my Teaching English as Foreign Language. I recently completed my Bachelor of Education Honours in Mathematics and Science Education. I’m now persuading my Master of Education in Mathematics Education with University of Pretoria. I worked as an online teacher at International Schooling an online school based in Singapore, I was teaching Mathematics and Science Grade 7-12. I can also teach Science, Chemistry, Physics and Biology I completed my Bachelor of Education Degree in Senior and FET PHASE, majoring in Mathematics, Geography with University of Pretoria. I also did my Teaching English as Foreign Language. I recently completed my Bachelor of Education Honours in Mathematics and Science Education. I’m now persuading my Master of Education in Mathematics Education with University of Pretoria. I’ve worked as an Education Assistant at Thathunyawo High School. I was teaching Mathematics grade 10, 11 & 12 Natural Sciences Grade 9. I also worked as an online teacher at International Schooling an online school based in Singapore, I was teaching Mathematics and Science Grade 7-12. I am now working as a Grade 12 Mathematical Literacy, Grade 10 Mathematics.

I hold a First Class B.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics, a degree that has given me a deep understanding of how mathematical thinking shapes real‑world problem‑solving — from designing transport networks through graph theory to using statistical modelling to predict future events. I have been a private maths tutor for over 6 years, supporting students from 11+ through GCSE, A‑Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, including GCSE AQA Further Mathematics and OCR FSMQ Additional Mathematics. I also tutor 11+ Maths and Non‑Verbal Reasoning. My students consistently achieve excellent results, with 90% securing a place at their first‑choice school, or obtaining grade 9/A* in GCSE Mathematics and A-level Mathematics. Alongside private tutoring, I have taught for a year in a local comprehensive school, gaining classroom experience across KS3, GCSE Mathematics, Level 2 Further/Additional Maths, A‑Level Maths, Further Maths and Statistics. This combination of school teaching and long‑term private tutoring means I understand both curriculum requirements and the individual needs of learners. I am a resourceful and adaptable teacher, experienced in supporting students of all abilities — including those with SEND — and I tailor my teaching to ensure every learner makes strong, confident progress. Coming from a family of mathematicians and maths teachers, I bring both expertise and genuine passion for the subject. My goal is always to help students feel capable, motivated, and fully prepared for their exams. I attended King Edward VI Handsworth Grammar School for Boys where I successfully completed my GCSEs including A* in mathematics and A in OCR FSMQ Additional Mathematics. I completed my A-levels at King Edward VI Aston School obtaining A* in Mathematics. I obtained 1st in B.Sc. Mathematics and Statistics at Coventry University. Additional, I hold a DipABRSM (now ARSM) in piano performance and grade 8 in classical guitar. During my university studies and undergraduate research, I specialised in pure & applied mathematics, statistics, statistical & data analysis, and machine learning. I am proficient in a range of software including R, Python, SPSS, MiniTab, SQL, and MatLab.

Hi, I’m Jade Flynn, a friendly and passionate Math and English teacher. I love helping students learn with confidence and enjoy. I make my lessons fun and easy to understand by using real-life examples, activities, and clear explanations. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and turning simple moments into learning opportunities. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in Mathematics, and I am also TEFL certified. My training helped me learn how to teach clearly, manage my class well, and adjust my lessons to different learning styles. I always aim to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable, and ready to succeed.
