Hi, I’m Maki Mary, an enthusiastic and patient math teacher who enjoys helping students understand math in a simple and practical way. I believe math becomes easier when students understand the concept instead of simply memorizing formulas. My goal is to make learning math engaging, supportive, and less intimidating, while helping students build their problem-solving skills and confidence. In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar and singing, which helps me relax and stay creative throughout the day. I graduated with a degree in Electronics Engineering and am a licensed Electronics Engineer. My academic background gave me a strong foundation in mathematics, logical reasoning, and problem-solving, while my professional experience in Quality Assurance and Control further strengthened these skills. I am a current student at Southampton University studying LLB law, with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others succeed.I am enthusiastic,patient and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students can build confidence and improve their learning.I am able to teach for all exam boards and see no hindrances in seeking the best education for my students. I currently attend the University of Southampton, studying LLB law.I obtained a grade 9 in my German gcse , grade 9 in English literature gcse and a grade 8 in English language gcse.For my alevels I achieved an A in German , and Bs in both English language and literature however I was utterly close to As , only one mark off in English Language and around 5 in English literature.I have tutored before and have obtained a TEFL.
