I have been tutoring with GoStudent for almost a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Prior to my degree, I took three A-Levels in History, Maths and English, receiving all A*s, and prior to that, ten GCSEs, receiving all 9s.

Hi! I'm a first-year Accounting and Finance student at the University of Warwick, and I tutor GCSE and A-Level Computer Science and Maths. I achieved an A* in A-Level Computer Science and an A in Maths, so I've recently sat the exams your child is preparing for and know how the papers are marked. I work through past questions and worked examples built around the topics a student finds hardest, rather than moving through a syllabus at a fixed pace. I'm patient, I'm happy to explain something more than once, and I'd rather a student understands why a method works than memorises it. During Sixth Form I also worked with my school's Computer Science department on a software project, and I was Subject Prefect for Computer Science, which involved explaining course content to younger students and presenting the subject to parents at open days.
