Hi! I'm Lisa. I enjoy helping students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the material, rather than simply memorising content for exams. I believe that understanding the fundamentals is the key to long-term success, so I focus on explaining concepts clearly and encouraging students to ask questions. My goal is not only to help students achieve their target grades but also to develop the problem-solving skills and knowledge that will benefit them in further study and university. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing the guitar and listening to music, particularly Chinese artists such as Jay Chou. I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable learning and making mistakes. I graduated from St Paul’s Girls’ School for sixth form and achieved 4 A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics. I am an upcoming second year Mechanical Engineering student studying at Imperial College London. I have add around three years tutoring 1v1 and 1v2 experiences in KS3 sciences and GCSE maths.

I also teach English as a Second language and Business English. An achievement of mine was when one of my students won GOLD at the Shanghai Special Olympics. In January 2025, GoStudent have added AI to GoClass. AI training was completed and is boosting tutoring outcomes.

My name is Shandana Wahid. I am 18 years old and study Politics, International Studies and German at the University of Warwick. I am an experienced tutor with over 1.5 years of teaching experience in economics and politics. I have 10 GCSES, from grades 8-6, including maths, business and triple science. My experience at a grammar school enables me to use interactive, effective teaching methods to help my students improve their grades. Hi! I’m Laureen Caitlin, a passionate Math tutor dedicated to helping students aged 11–18 build confidence and actually enjoy problem-solving. Math doesn’t have to be scary, and I’m here to prove that! I love breaking down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand steps, making every lesson feel achievable and even fun. Seeing students go from “I don’t get it” to “I got it!” is what I love most about teaching. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy singing and exploring new hobbies which helps me bring positive energy and creativity into my lessons. I hold a Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics from Far Eastern University and a PhD in Educational Leadership from Universidad de Dagupan.
