Hi! My name is Dipasha and I’m currently a final year Pharmacology student at Queen Mary University of London, with a strong interest in academic research and medicine. Outside of my studies, I enjoy playing tennis and badminton. I also love to explore different places in London and listen to music! I really enjoy teaching, and I look forward to supporting students to reach their goals :) I am currently in my final year studying BSc Pharmacology and Innovative Therapeutics at Queen Mary University of London, where I am about to graduate with a first class degree. Prior to this, I completed my A-levels, where I built a strong academic foundation in science and developed effective study and exam techniques. I also performed very well at GCSE level, which reflects my academic ability and strong understanding of core subjects. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience supporting other students with their learning, helping to break down complex topics and build confidence, which has strengthened both my communication skills and ability to adapt to different learning styles.

I am very enthusiastic about Maths and the Sciences. Having just finished my A Levels studying Biology, Physics, and Mathematics at A Level; I understand the challenges students face when learning these subjects and enjoy helping others build confidence and improve their understanding. I aim to make learning engaging and accessible for every student. I recently completed my A Levels at Queen Anne's School, Reading, where I studied Biology, Physics, and Mathematics. I've had a strong interest in science, sport and problem-solving since I started secondary school, which has inspired me to pursue a degree in Sports and Exercise Science at university. Prior to that, I completed my GCSEs at King's Academy Prospect, Reading, achieving good results across all subjects, including Maths and the Sciences. During school, I enjoyed helping classmates with revision, which sparked my interest in tutoring. My recent experience with the current curriculum gives me insight into how students can succeed both academically and confidently

My name is Alinah Mampiti Thakhuli, and I am a passionate, hardworking, and dedicated university student currently completing my final year of a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry at North-West University. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, which have strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging way. Teaching has always been one of my greatest passions. I have gained valuable experience tutoring Mathematics and enjoy helping students build confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve their academic goals. I believe every student has the potential to succeed when they receive patient guidance, encouragement, and teaching that is adapted to their individual learning style. Beyond academics, I have actively taken on leadership roles, including serving as a residence house committee secretary, participating in university event management, and serving in leadership within my church. I am currently in my final year of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry at North-West University (NWU), South Africa. Throughout my studies, I have developed a strong foundation in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Laboratory Sciences. My degree has equipped me with advanced analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, enabling me to break down complex scientific concepts into simple, understandable explanations for learners of different abilities. In addition to my university studies, I have practical tutoring experience in Mathematics, where I have worked with students to improve their understanding of key concepts, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and build confidence in their academic abilities. I enjoy adapting my teaching methods to suit each student's individual learning style, whether they benefit most from visual explanations, step-by-step problem solving, or practical examples. I thoroughly enjoy teaching! I teach Maths and Science at all levels, including Primary, 11+, GCSE, and A Level! I am an advocate for hard work and smart work, always emphasising the importance of practice to learn, whilst adapting to the needs of my students. I am super experienced with various exam boards, both at GCSE and A Level.
