I graduated with a degree in Software Engineering, with a strong focus on English, Mathematics, and Information Technology. This combination has given me a balanced approach to teaching, blending logical thinking with creativity. Over the past six years, I have taught and tutored students of different ages and abilities, which has helped me grow not only as a teacher but also as a supportive mentor. My academic background has strengthened my understanding of language, problem-solving, and effective communication. I’m a mechanical engineering student who enjoys learning, staying active, and improving at things over time. Outside academics, I train Muay Thai and play squash, which keeps me disciplined and focused. I’m naturally curious, patient, and I like explaining ideas in a way that actually makes sense to people. Hi my name is Gabriel. I am a 28 year old 11+ tutor. I love helping students prepare for their 11+ entrance exams. I have a degree in English from Rhodes University. I have a passion for teaching and for helping others grow. I have experience with helping students prepare for the GL Assessment 11+ test as well as others such as the Sutton Boys 11+ test. In 2018 I enrolled in a Bachelor of the Arts at Rhodes University in my home country of South Africa. Rhodes University has the best Humanities Faculty and the best English Department in the country and so it was a natural choice for me as I intended to study English Literature.
