After working a year, I decided to apply for a part-time postgraduate degree in education, where I focused on learning about inclusive education and educational psychology. I also wrote a research paper about improving teaching strategies in the classroom. After deciding to move to France, I then took a course for how to teach English online to all age groups, from young children to adults. I also completed an advanced grammar and business English course. Currently, I'm teaching Cambridge English to young children and teenagers. I help students prepare for IGCES, GCSES and A levels. I also teach ESL to all age groups. At the moment, I am learning French and I'm currently on a B1 level in my language development.

I'm a dedicated and patient tutor with a strong passion for helping students build confidence and achieve academic success. I have achieved high grades in both GCSEs and A-levels, and have worked with a range of students. Whether a student needs help preparing for exams, catching up in class, or wants to get ahead, I focus on creating a positive and supportive learning environment. My goal is to help students improve their grades while also inspiring curiosity and helping them form strategies for success. 100% of my students so far have seen an improvement of at least two grade, with many moving up many grades. I have completed both my GCSEs and A-Levels in the UK, achieving strong results across a range of academic subjects. At GCSE level, I studied core subjects including English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, and the Sciences, along with Citizenship, Geography, French and RE, which gave me a well-rounded academic foundation. For A-Levels, I chose to pursue Biology, English Literature and Politics, which not only deepened my subject knowledge but also developed my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Hi! My name is Anushka Thomas and I am a second year Biomedical Science BSc Student at King's College London. I am specialising in Immunology and Infectious Disease and am particularly interested in drug discovery and public health. I am really passionate about studying and communicating science in a clear and engaging way! Attended Northampton High School (GDST) where I obtained 99998 in GCSE Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English language and Maths. I then went on to complete A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have completed Year 1 of my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science where I studied the following modules: Anatomy, Physiology, Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Neuroscience, Chemistry and Pharmacology. In my second year I plan to specialise in Immunology and Infectious disease where I will be studying modules such as Cancer Cell Biology, Drug Discovery and Development as well as Medical Microbiology. Having spent the last 5 years undergoing rigorous examinations, university entrances as well as having to grasp vast amounts of difficult scientific content, I believe I am well-equipped to help others in similar positions.
