My name is Whitman, and I am a third-year at the University of Chicago studying Astrophysics and Economics with a minor in Classics. Originally born in New York City, I grew up in London my entire life where I completed the IB Diploma. Outside of academics, I row at UChicago, play piano, and love to read. I am currently studying Astrophysics and Economics with a minor in Classics at the University of Chicago. I also completed my IB Diploma with HL Maths AA, HL Physics, HL Economics, HL History, SL English Lang. & Lit., and SL Spanish B. My specialisations include all of my HL subjects, and also Spanish as after graduating highschool I lived and worked in Argentina.

Hi, I’m Aryan, a 19 year old BSc Economics and Geography student at UCL. I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I enjoy helping students understand topics that they may initially find difficult. Before university, I completed the IB achieving 41 points overall, including a 7 in Higher Level Chemistry and 6s in Higher Level Economics and Mathematics. I also studied Geography (7), Spanish (6) and English literature (6) at standard level. I have experience both tutoring other students and being tutored myself, so I understand what makes a lesson genuinely helpful and engaging from both perspectives. I know that every student learns differently, and I try to adapt my explanations and teaching style to what works best for each individual. Outside of academics, I enjoy going to the gym, travelling, and being involved in university societies and leadership roles. Alongside my studies, I have taken on academic and leadership responsibilities, including serving as a First Year Academic Representative at UCL.

Hi, I’m Isabelle. I am an undergraduate student studying Biomedical Systems Engineering at the University of Warwick. While in Year 12, I helped students who were struggling with maths in booster sessions offered by my school. These were targeted at Year 11 students to ensure they were confident before their exams. During my A-levels I taught myself AS-level Further Maths as it was not a subject offered by my school. This helped me to discover effective methods to learn and understand content. I became Head Girl of my school and engaged in student council meetings, which allowed me to understand how we can help students more. I am patient, a great listener, and I firmly believe that anyone can become better with enough support. I have been a tutor for 2 years, specialising in Maths and English, but I am comfortable teaching a range of subjects. I am in my second year of university studying Law, which has given me many skills such as attention to detail and a strong work ethic. I transfer these qualities to tutoring, and my priority is helping students excel in their studies by providing effective and engaging lessons that tailor to each child's needs. I completed my GCSEs in The Abbey School and my A levels in Kendrick School, achieving results of a high standard that I was proud of. I am now studying Law in university, which has been a passion of mine for many years. My education journey has provided me with joyful and beneficial experiences, as well as challenges that have developed my resilience and shaped me as a person.
