I'm Ahsan, a second-year Accounting and Finance student at Queen Mary University of London. I tutor GCSE and A-Level Maths and Economics and I genuinely love helping students get to grips with topics that feel confusing at first. I have paid tutoring experience so I know how to break things down in a way that actually makes sense. I'm patient, friendly, and I'll work at whatever pace suits you best. About me I love to travel, explore new places and meet people from different cultures. I spent ten years living in Athens, Greece where I worked as a private tutor: teaching TEFL to a wide variety of people - from complete beginners to students wishing to take Cambridge Proficiency exams in order to access UK universities. I have a BA Hons degree in Modern Languages: English/French with a module in Classical Greek Language and Literature. I believe in stress-free lessons , and learning in a relaxed setting. As a tutor I am not there to add pressure, but to help take pressure off. In terms of hobbies, I love reading, writing stories, and watching Turkish TV dramas. I am also a huge tennis fan. Last, but not least, I enjoy all forms of sugar - especially cake! Aside from my degree, I am qualified to teach TEFL. I really enjoy working with those who don't have English as a first language. It's a thrill to help them improve their speaking and listening - as well as reading and writing skills. It's wonderful to see them grow in confidence when expressing themselves in English. Furthermore, I am qualified to do proofreading. This fits in well with teaching English. I also have a certificate in Counselling Skills.

My name is Alinah Mampiti Thakhuli, and I am a passionate, hardworking, and dedicated university student currently completing my final year of a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry at North-West University. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, which have strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging way. I am tutoring in Sociology and Religious Studies. I am currently studying for a BA in Sociology at the University of Warwick. I provide a flexible teaching style where everything is tailored to you. I am the welfare officer for Warwick STAR and I also have experience volunteering at primary and secondary schools and youth clubs. I have achieved a grade 4-9 in all of my GCSE'S. At college I studied criminology and sociology and I am now studying for a ba in Sociology at the University of Warwick.
