I am a Qualified Teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students of all levels. Edexcel, AQA, OCR (most material is common to all exam boards). I am currently working as a Mathematics teacher at a school in the U.K. In my previous roles, I taught mathematics and coding. I have also tutored students at various levels, from primary school to college. I am very well aware of the Mathematics curriculum and always look for new and engaging ways to teach it. I’m a dedicated and enthusiastic student, studying German and Economics and university. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a genuine understanding of their subjects. I aim to create supportive, engaging lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs. I went to Wallington High School for Girls for secondary school, where I completed A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and German. I am going to start a joint honours course in German and Economics at the University of Warwick, which I am thoroughly looking forward to.

I’m a 4th-year medical student studying abroad, with a strong academic background in A-Level Maths, Chemistry and Biology, achieving A grades in all three subjects. I offer tutoring in GCSE and A-Level Maths, Biology and Chemistry, and I’m passionate about helping students build both their confidence and understanding of the subjects. I first gained teaching experience through mentoring students during high school, particularly in GCSE Maths and Biology. Since then, I’ve worked with a number of students over the past few years, helping them work towards their academic goals and make significant progress. Seeing students become more confident and independent in their learning is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring for me. I believe that every student learns differently, so I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. I take the time to understand what a student is struggling with, how they learn best, and what they want to achieve, and then adapt my lessons accordingly. Now that I am studying Medicine at university, I have continued to develop my knowledge and understanding of Biology and Chemistry, while also maintaining a strong foundation in Maths. I therefore feel confident in my ability to explain concepts clearly and help students tackle challenging topics. My tutoring approach is centred around making challenging concepts easier to understand. I break topics down into manageable steps, regularly check understanding and use practice questions to identify and address gaps in knowledge. I adapt my teaching to the individual student rather than using the same approach for everyone, whether they are aiming to secure the fundamentals, improve their confidence or work towards the highest grades. In addition to tutoring, I have experience working with young people as a Summer Sports Camp Coach at King’s College Taunton. This strengthened my communication, leadership and motivational skills and taught me how to keep young people engaged while maintaining a positive and supportive environment. Together, my academic background and extensive tutoring experience have given me the skills to support students effectively and help them make meaningful academic progress.
