Hi! I’m a multilingual Chemical Engineering student at the University of Edinburgh. I teach Spanish, English, Maths and Chemistry, adapting each lesson to the student’s level, goals and learning style. Hi, I’m Ryn Delaine, an enthusiastic and student-centered math teacher! I love helping students explore the world of mathematics in a way that is simple, engaging, and meaningful. My goal is to make learning math less intimidating and more enjoyable through step-by-step explanations, real-life applications, and interactive problem-solving that spark curiosity and build confidence in my students. In my free time, I enjoy singing and playing the guitar, which help me stay creative, relaxed, and bring positive energy into my teaching. I graduated with a degree in Mathematics Education as a Cum Laude, where I gained a strong foundation in mathematical theories, teaching strategies, and classroom management. My studies equipped me with the skills to create engaging lessons, address diverse learning styles, and foster a supportive learning environment that encourages every student to excel.

I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.
