I am a fourth-year medical student with a strong passion for helping others achieve their academic goals. While I was always a relatively capable student, I learned early on that success didn’t come without hard work, sacrifice, and most importantly, support. During a particularly challenging period in my studies, I met a tutor who completely revitalised my passion for learning and helped me reach my potential. That experience shaped who I am today and inspired me to do the same for others. Academically, I achieved three A grades at A Level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, and all 9s in GCSE in these subjects. Beyond my own studies, I have two years of tutoring experience, beginning in sixth form, where I supported GCSE students across multiple subjects. One example I am especially proud of is helping a student improve from a grade 5 to a grade 8 in GCSE chemistry, by building their confidence, exam technique, and understanding from first principles. My primary role as a tutor is to help you achieve the grades you need and develop a strong, lasting understanding of your subject. However, I also believe learning works best in a supportive environment - so please think of me not just as a tutor, but as someone approachable and encouraging. I’m always happy to answer questions, offer guidance, and support you every step of the way. I attended a comprehensive school until year 10 and then a grammar school from year 10 all the way until year 13. The amazing learning and experiences in both have shaped me to be the man I am today, and enabled me to achieve the grades I needed in GCSE and A-level to now be studying medicine in my 4th year at Aston University. I have over a year of tutoring experience in the sciences and maths from KS2 all the way until A-level and I racked up many 5 star reviews and gave tailored help to each student I taught. Personal academic achievements include being the 2025 winner of the annual Rosalind Franklin essay competition in Aston Medical School completing 2 summer internships in biomedical research and have several research papers in the works for publication.

I am a calm, friendly GCSE and SATS English Literature and Language tutor who understands each students learning style to help students both grow in confidence and achieve the grades that they need. I have experience providing one-to-one tutoring for primary school students preparing for English SATs and GCSE English Literature. I understand the importance of tailoring lessons to suit different learning styles allowing me to explain ideas clearly and help each student achieve their goal. I am highly analytical and great at breaking down complex ideas and pieces literatures into simple, clear steps that suits every learning style. As a Master's student at Loughborough University, I understand the pressure of exams, so my goal is to make English feel less overwhelming, more structured and most importantly, fun. I achieved a Grade 7 in GCSE English Literature, which gave me a strong foundation in analysing texts, understanding themes and developing clear, well-structured exam answers. At A-Level, I studied English Literature and achieved a Grade B, further deepening my ability to interpret complex texts, explore writers’ methods and express ideas precisely in essays. I went on to study a BA (Honors) Criminology at the University of Liverpool, graduating with a 2:1. My degree involved extensive reading, critical thinking and academic writing, and I consistently worked with dense, challenging material that had to be broken down and explained clearly. For my dissertation, i achieved a first class grade (82%). This strengthened my skills in independent research, planning, structuring arguments and writing in a clear, persuasive style. I am now progressing to a Master’s in Social Science Research at Loughborough University, where I will be further developing advanced skills in essay writing, academic reading and detailed analysis. Across my education, I have built strong experience in breaking down complex pieces of writing, identifying key ideas and explaining them in simple, accessible ways.

I'm a Mathematics and Data Science graduate of the London School of Economics, and I now run a startup that uses machine learning in drug discovery, so I put the maths I teach to work every day. I studied Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Chemistry at A-level, earning an A* in Maths, and I'm a two-time gold medallist in the National Physics Olympiad. I tutor Maths, Physics and Computer Science from GCSE through A-level, and I also prepare students for university admissions tests and Oxbridge applications. Having recently sat these exams myself, I know exactly where students get stuck. My approach is patient and diagnostic: I find the gap, rebuild from there, and focus on real understanding and problem-solving rather than memorising. Most of all, I love helping students go from dreading a subject to feeling confident and capable in it. I attended St Paul's School, where I took A-levels in Mathematics (A*), Physics (A), Computer Science (A) and Chemistry (A), along with an A* EPQ in electrical and systems engineering. At GCSE I earned seven grade 9s, including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science, and four grade 8s. I then studied for a BSc in Mathematics and Data Science at the London School of Economics (LSE), with coursework spanning machine learning, optimisation, real and complex analysis, probability and statistics, graph theory and algorithms. Alongside my degree I completed Harvard's CS50 and an MIT course in mathematics for finance. My specialisations are Maths, Physics and Computer Science at GCSE and A-level, and preparing students for university admissions tests (STEP, TMUA and ESAT) and Oxbridge applications. I'm also a two-time gold medallist in the National Physics Olympiad, which is exactly the kind of problem-solving these entrance exams reward.

I’m a third-year aeronautical engineering student who knows from experience what it feels like when lectures, textbooks, or problem sheets just don’t make sense the first (or fifth) time. I’ve been in the position where school support wasn’t quite enough, which is why I enjoy helping students bridge that gap and actually understand what’s going on, not just memorise steps. My approach is relaxed, patient, and focused on building confidence alongside knowledge. There are no silly questions here — if something doesn’t make sense, that just means it’s worth asking about as I strongly believe that asking questions is part of learning, and no one should feel embarrassed for needing things explained differently. Outside academics, I’m a big sports fan and still play football for my own club as well as my university team. I love the outdoors, animals, and generally staying active, which probably explains why I like explanations that are clear, practical, and grounded rather than overly abstract. My goal is to make learning feel less intimidating and a lot more achievable. My degree has strengthened my analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and ability to break complex ideas into logical, easy-to-follow steps — skills that translate directly into effective tutoring. During school, I took on leadership and mentoring roles, including serving as a Maths Ambassador, and went on to complete certifications in Sports Leadership, Mentoring in Violence Prevention, and Mental Health Ambassador training. Together, these experiences strengthened my communication skills, adaptability, and ability to build both understanding and confidence in others.
