Hi! I’m Ann — a second-year medical student who loves painting, reading, and (recently) horse riding. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning new things, but I also understand how tough studying can feel when you’re stuck, stressed, or unsure where to start. That’s a huge part of why I tutor — I want to make learning feel lighter, clearer, and way less overwhelming. I’m not the type of tutor who just reads off a screen or throws information at you. I like to explain things in a simple, friendly way, break topics down into small steps, and make sure you actually understand the idea, not just memorise it. Everyone learns differently, so I always adjust the pace and style to whatever works best for you. If you’re someone who loses motivation, gets anxious about exams, or feels like certain subjects just “don’t make sense,” don’t worry — I’ve been there too. We’ll work through it together until you feel confident. I’m patient, supportive, and I’ll never make you feel bad for not knowing something. That’s literally what I’m here for. I really want my students to feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of themselves. I love seeing someone go from “I don’t get this at all” to “wait… that actually makes sense now!” It’s the best part of tutoring. I achieved all A* in chemistry, biology and maths at GCSEs, and an A in biology for A-level through my time as a student I developed effective study techniques, which I use to support students in their learning. I am now a second year medical student.

I am a Masters student studying Applied Mathematics at the University of Birmingham, with a first-class degree in Mathematics from Aston University. I help GCSE and A-level students build confidence by explaining topics clearly, starting with simple examples and gradually working towards exam-style questions. I am patient, friendly and adaptable, and I take time to identify where each student is struggling. I achieved 988877776 in GCSEs from Sandwell Academy with a 9 in Mathematics and then continued my A-Levels at Sandwell Academy achieving ABC in Mathematics, Economics and Further Mathematics respectively. I then attended Aston University achieving a strong first-class honours degree in Mathematics. I now am undertaking a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Birmingham.

As an ambitious and creative individual, I love sport and theatre and I am currently studying on a musical theatre foundation year at Italia Conti! Hi, my name is Emma and I am 21 years-old. I am currently completing a masters in Clinical Psychology a the University of Exeter and am loving it. I want to share my love of psychology with others and help other people love and understand psychology. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and tailored towards each individual student so that we find the best style for each student. When I am not studying you can normally find me reading or running. I am currently completing my masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of Exeter. This summer I graduated from the University of Exeter with a bachelors of science in Psychology. I completed my secondary and sixth form in the United States where I did the equivalent of A-level psychology achieving an A/A*.
