Hi! My name is Hector, and I am a 3rd year Biochemistry Student at The University of Warwick. My aim is to help people feel confident in Biology. As a university student, I understand how frustrating it can be when a topic just doesn't make sense. My approach is patient and clearly structured, with a focus on making sure the student not only knows what the answer is, but why it is the answer. Outside of my studies I enjoy going to the gym, playing padel and reading. I hope you will find my lessons enjoyable! I attended The Portsmouth Grammar School where I completed my GCSEs and A Levels. I studied Biology, Chemisty and Maths at A Level. After A Levels I took a year out where I worked as a ski instructor, gaining a Level 2 CSIA qualification, which allowed me to work with a large variety of clients. Currently, I am in my 3rd year of Biochemistry at The University of Warwick with a predicted First-Class, after which I'm going to undertake a masters. I'm love all biology, but my studies currently focus on oncology and molecular cell biology.

Hi, I’m Anna Montclaire, an energetic and passionate Science teacher! I love helping students explore literature and language in fun, creative ways. My goal is to make learning exciting through lively discussions, role-playing, and multimedia projects, sparking curiosity and confidence in my students. In my free time, I enjoy watching anime and jogging every morning, which keeps me energized and inspired throughout the day. I graduated with a degree in Agricultural Chemistry. My studies provided a strong foundation in teaching methods, linguistics, and literature. I am a recent graduate of Biochemistry from the University of York where I got a 2:1. I have 3 A* A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have experience of tutoring students doing GCSEs and A Levels and I strongly believe in the importance of understanding concepts completely so that they can be applied instead of rote memorisation. I have a strong passion for the sciences and maths and believe in their importance for understanding and moving through the world as well as becoming resilient to misinformation and misunderstanding.
