I am currently an undergraduate at Loughborough University studying Robotics Engineering. I am interested in satellites and fighter jets and mathematics is my favourite subject. I’m an athlete and love fitness, and have been an academic for the longest. I love research and solving very hard maths problems. I love music and everything in between My highest level of qualification is a levels where I studied Mathematics, Maths and Physics as well as taking AS chemistry in year 12. Hi there. James here, from South Africa. I taught in London in Walthamstow for my probationary year in 1991, and then in Johannesburg and Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa for a total of 21 years. I have taught Cambridge A Level History and England and South Africa's English and History curricula. I am also a published researcher, poet, and author. I enjoy cross-country running. I like NETFLIX mystery series. I regularly get out wilderness walking and cross country swimming. Since February 2025, I tutor English and Religious Studies for GoStudent. I battled with learning difficulties at school. However, I did very well after school, because I knew that English opens doors. So, I set goals. Then I achieved a B.A (1985) and a B. Ed (1996) degree, at Wits University in Johannesburg. I did a Masters Degree in Theology (Regent College, Vancouver, B.C., 2001) and a PhD in Church History (University of KwaZulu-Natal, 2016). I believe education is a lifelong journey. We master English every day for the rest of our lives. So I'm still learning as I tutor GCSE students, A Level students, and juniors, to reach their highest goals.

Hi everyone, my name's Saoban, but you can call me Sao. I’m a medical student whose focus is on Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, but I can teach a range of subjects. My academic background is science-focused, which medicine requires a strong foundation in. I apply this directly in my teaching. Outside of teaching and medicine, I’m interested in fitness, health science, and personal development. I enjoy understanding how the body works and how small improvements compound over time - I find the same principle applies to studying.
