We had the pleasure of working with Jessmar for almost six months alongside both of my children, and it was a truly kind, engaging, and valuable experience. Jessmar is extremely patient, kind, and a great communicator — always able to guide discussions and share useful knowledge in a calm and respectful way. Both my son and daughter have shown real progress, and they genuinely appreciated the time spent with him. If we continue with GoStudent, we would definitely choose Jessmar again

He is the first teacher to help me learn math in a quick and easy way. I have been taught by probably over 100 teachers and never understood anything. I gave up on my ability to learn maths until I met him. He got me to pass a math exam for the first time after 8 years of failing all maths exams and I am astonished by his teaching abilities.

My teacher Jessmar really helped me with a subject that I struggled with for a long time: math. Thanks to his motivation, understanding, and patience, I was finally able to pass.

Hi, Bonjour ! Je m'appelle Chloé (my name is Chloé) and I am a French native speaker :) As travelling and getting to know new cultures and languages is a real passion of mine, I am very excited to share my own; French culture and language. I myself had to learn a language that is not my native language (English) so I definitely know how challenging it is for my students to learn a new language. Therefore I can particularly help my students to overcome the fears they can have to learn a new language and truly put myself in their shoes. As it worked for me, I like to give lively interactive lessons using images or videos to optimise memory and focus. I also encourage my student to speak as much as possible, as I believe it is the best way to learn any language : 'PARLER, PARLER, PARLER'. I am the most experienced in giving lessons from Primary to GCSE level. I also have some experience in teaching A Levels and most particularly with adult learners and travellers. I have experience in private French and Art lessons with children aged 6 to 15. My interests include: travelling : I travelled and lived in over 11 countries and got to know very diverse cultures all over the world. Important : please note that I do not teach English anymore. Teaching Art : I have an Art and design BTEC and studied a BA at the university of the Arts of London (UAL) and currently studying at les beaux arts of Paris and have been a practicing artist ever since. I cam teach Art and Design GCSE students, particularly to give feedback on their portfolio. I am the most experienced in giving lessons from Primary to GCSE level. I also have some experience in teaching A Levels and most particularly with adult learners and travellers. I look forward to meet you, to work with you and helping with your studies! Merci beaucoup et a bientôt ! I've been living and studying in France most of my life until the age of 17 where I've moved to the UK to carry on my education in English. There I got the ESOL Entry 2 (NQF) and the IELTS ( grade 6.5) followed by the BTEC in Art & Design (equivalent to the bacalaureat) and then moved forward to a Fine art BA at UAL. Currently, I am in my third year of BA at Les beaux Arts of Paris ; where the French literary level is very high and sustained. In other words, I'll be very comfortable in both language to give you the clearest French lessons and to support you all along throughout the learning path you're taking!

"Hi Christine, Diarmuid here. I just got my results and I got the 2nd highest German grade you can get. You helped me so much and I can't thank you enough." Hello there! My name is Christine and I am a junior doctor. I have always been passionate about learning and sharing knowledge in a manner that's simple and enjoyable. With over 5 years tutoring experience, I focus on an engaging, holistic, and student-centric approach to tutoring, whilst sharing my passion and love for learning! I firmly believe the key to mastering anything is understanding the basics and then weaving them together to gain the bigger picture. I have worked diligently to hone my skils over the years, even applying them in my own studies in the medical field, and have been able to get testimonials such as the one above and: "Hi Christina only to let you know Felipe had a 6 in biology which is very good compared with the 3 in January! Hope we can work together from September. So, thank you x" - Pilar "Just to let you know Yousef passed all his GCSEs. Thank you." - Naz "Hii, it’s Mike. I just wanted to say thank you so much for helping me this year and I wouldn’t have done it without your help and support." During the sessions, I work with my students through the agreed upon topic paying close attention to the core concepts, we go through some exam-style questions, and also learn how to frame the answers in the way examiners expect. I also share effecting studying and memory techniques to enable them to better learn and master their content. In my spare time, I enjoy singing (I'm currently taking a music theory class and hope to progress to one day play the cello) and dancing. These help me unwind and also have fun! I look forward to extending this interesting mixture of fun and learning to my students and help the strike that oh-so-elusive balance between work and play so that they can become the best versions of themselves. Would you like to have similar testimonials as these? "hellooooo! hope your doing well. it’s the results day today, just letting you know that i got a 7 in german!! i am very happy with the results, thank you so much for all of your help i definitely wouldn’t have got this if it wasn’t for you 😁" - Shangami "Hello Christine, I hope you have had a good summer. Alastair wanted you to know he passed GCSE combined. He got 55 Score for his GCSE. He is now going to do A levels and considering btec science to compliment a level PE. Thank you for your support, you really made a difference." - Jill I'm available to work together with you/your student and I'm excited to help them achieve their highest potential. See you soon! Hi, I’m Maki Mary, an enthusiastic and patient math teacher who enjoys helping students understand math in a simple and practical way. I believe math becomes easier when students understand the concept instead of simply memorizing formulas. My goal is to make learning math engaging, supportive, and less intimidating, while helping students build their problem-solving skills and confidence. In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar and singing, which helps me relax and stay creative throughout the day. I graduated with a degree in Electronics Engineering and am a licensed Electronics Engineer. My academic background gave me a strong foundation in mathematics, logical reasoning, and problem-solving, while my professional experience in Quality Assurance and Control further strengthened these skills. I also completed my TEFL certification and achieved a C2 Proficient level in the EF SET English test, which strengthened my communication skills and prepared me to support learners effectively.

Hi! I'm a friendly, supportive and enthusiastic tutor specialising in GCSE Biology and Chemistry, as well as A-level Biology. I achieved A*AA at A-level in these subjects and am currently studying Podiatry at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Alongside my studies, I have over two years of tutoring experience and also work as a teaching assistant, supporting both mainstream and SEN students across a wide range of ages and abilities. This experience has helped me develop a patient, adaptable teaching style that is tailored to each student's individual needs and learning preferences. My lessons focus on building confidence, developing a strong understanding of key concepts, and improving exam technique. I have created detailed PowerPoints, topic-specific Quizlet flashcards, and past paper question booklets for every topic, giving students access to high-quality resources both during and outside of lessons. We will work through topics together step by step before applying your knowledge using exam-style questions and mark schemes, helping you understand exactly what examiners are looking for. Every lesson is personalised around your goals, whether that's catching up on difficult topics, improving confidence, or achieving the highest grades. I adapt my teaching to suit the way you learn best, whether that's through diagrams, mind maps, videos, active recall, practice questions, or simply talking concepts through together. I also have extensive experience supporting students with additional learning needs and understand that every student learns differently. Between sessions, I'll set small personalised tasks to reinforce what we've covered, and you'll have full access to all of my revision resources, including Quizlet flashcards, topic notes, and past papers. I'm always happy to answer questions between lessons and provide extra support whenever it's needed. Whether you're aiming to pass your exams, boost your confidence, or achieve top grades, I'll provide the support, encouragement and structure to help you reach your full potential. I went to Wirral Grammar School for Girls, where I achieved grade 9s in all of my GCSEs. At A Level, I studied Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, and earned A*AA. I’m currently studying Podiatry at university, a healthcare course that combines my love of science with practical, real-world applications. I enjoy how it brings together anatomy, problem-solving, and patient care in a meaningful way.
