Hi I'm Toby, a first-year Political Economy student at King’s College London with A*s in A-level Economics and Politics and an A in Maths. I have experience tutoring GCSE Maths and A-level Economics and enjoy making difficult topics simple, building confidence and helping students achieve their goals. I am an effective tutor. I’ve worked with SEN students including students with; dyscalculia, ADHD, dyslexia and autism. Whether you are looking to increase your grade by a little, or a lot I am here to get you to that full potential. I specialise in teaching GCSE maths and have led many students to get top grades. I work based on the students’ needs and I am very much able to adapt to their preferred learning style. I use exam questions from your exam board and continue to practice topics with you until you are fluent As I am a visual learner myself, I work with students particularly through diagrams, visual aids and in depth examples, drawn on interactive whiteboards as well as analogies to explain concepts required for their curriculum and more importantly, the final exam. Practice exam and past paper questions are key to unlocking the higher grades, and so I always integrate questions throughout the teaching of content during lesson to ensure the student understands and digests what they have learnt properly through application, you will never be short of exam practice in one of my lessons, as that is how the real exam will be like. There is always an open door policy to ask whatever questions you need to, whether that is in or out of lesson time, no question is too big or small. Hi, my name is Tasadaq Ali. I am a 3rd year Medical Student at the University of Sheffield. In my GCSEs, I achieved a grade 9 in Chemistry and a grade 8 in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Physics. In my A-Levels, I achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I enjoy teaching and I have been doing it for quite some time now. Even in University, I have volunteered to teach the younger years about Medicine and when it comes to online tutoring, I have had a good amount of experience when it comes to teaching GCSE content to students. I really enjoy getting to meet all the new people I have the privilege of teaching and in a way this job is very rewarding for me because I know just how much of an impact tutoring can have on not only a student's performance in their exams but also their confidence when it comes to various topics. In my spare time I like to play football, watch documentaries and best of all spend time with my friends. Thank you :) For secondary school, I attended Ermysteds Grammar School in Skipton. The school required an 11+ exam for entry which I comfortably passed. During my GCSEs, although my year was the year in which COVID cancelled our exams, I was still able to walk away with a grade 9 in Chemistry, a grade 8 in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Physics, a grade 7 in Geography and a grade 6 in English Language, English Literature, History and Design/Technology. I stayed at Ermysteds for sixth form to study for my A-Levels. In the end I achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. And as of now, I am in my third year of Medical School with hopes one day of becoming a Cardiologist.
