Hello! I am a passionate English tutor with a degree in English Literature and Creative writing from the University of Warwick. I am also currently studying to become a full-time English teacher at secondary school level. My aim as a tutor is to make English feel approachable, engaging and enjoyable, while helping students to build the confidence they need to express their ideas and reach their full potential. I’m especially keen to support students whole might lack confidence in English or find the subject challenging. I studied English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Warwick, where I enjoyed the wide range of texts and forms available, from Geoffrey Chaucer and Homer to modern texts dating well into the 21st century. My course covered poetry, novels, plays, films, graphic novels, and short stories across English and American literature. I also completed a film module in my final year, leaving me confident teaching Film Studies as its popularity grows in schools. Half of my degree focused on creative writing, where I particularly enjoyed screenwriting. Many seminars involved peer review, where I developed strong skills in giving constructive and sensitive feedback. I attended the Royal Grammar School, Newcastle where I completed my GCSEs and A levels.

I'm a second year Biomedical Science student at Queen Mary University of London with over two years of tutoring experience, mainly teaching GCSE Maths and Science. I also tutor A-Level Biology and Edexcel A-Level Maths, tailoring each lesson to suit the student's learning style and goals. I'm passionate about helping students build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their potential in exams. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy expanding my knowledge of science and medicine, and I'm working towards a career in healthcare. I aim to create a supportive, engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. My degree has strengthened my analytical, problem solving, and communication skills while reinforcing my passion for science and education. My lessons are carefully planned and interactive, combining clear explanations with worked examples, exam style questions, and regular practice to build confidence and improve exam technique. As a university student, I am familiar with the latest specifications and assessment styles, allowing me to provide relevant and up-to-date support. My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent grades but also to develop their independent learning skills and foster a genuine understanding of the subjects they study. Academically, I achieved excellent GCSE results, earning 10 A*-As across all subjects, including Further Mathematics, before going on to study A Levels in Biology, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students face and the techniques needed to succeed in exams. Alongside my studies, I have over two years of tutoring experience teaching GCSE Mathematics to both Foundation and Higher tier students. Through this role, I have helped students improve their confidence, strengthen their understanding of key concepts, and achieve their academic goals.

I’m a Psychology undergraduate and MSc Cognitive behavioural therapy student with a strong passion for mental health and learning. I offer supportive, engaging tuition in psychology, helping students build confidence, deepen understanding, and achieve their academic goals. Royal Holloway, University of London Psychology BSc graduate (2024), currently studying MSc Cognitive behavioural therapy at Goldsmiths, University of London, graduating in 2027, with strong academic knowledge and a passion for helping others learn and succeed.

kgalalelo is a 30 year old Civil Engineering technologist who lives in the North West province of South Africa. I enjoy reading, running, playing sports such as basketball and swimming as well as creating art through drawing and painting. I am highly passionate about education and learning new things, and I look forward to passing down my knowledge in education to assist you in your everyday studies. I have obtained a National Diploma in Civil Engineering at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology with the intentions of furthering my studies in the year 2026. My most recent employment was an Assistant Site Manager in a Civil engineering construction company. My other previous occupations were civil engineering intern, library assistant and civil engineering site technician.
