I am currently a second year student, studying Chemistry at the University of Surrey. I have strong foundational qualifications in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at A-Level. My problem solving and quantitative skills will be useful in helping explain difficult concepts to a variety of students. Outside of studying I enjoy Judo and rock climbing which has built my resilience and other skills. I am currently a second year Chemistry Student at the University of Surrey. Hey! I’m Syeda and I am currently in my a placement year studying Law at the University of Liverpool. I have experience tutoring English. My approach to tutoring is to be patient, adaptable and help students feel comfortable whilst achieving set goals. I look forward to working alongside some amazing students! I have an abundance of Law work experience opportunities/ internships which have allowed me to develop many transferable skills including communication skills, adaptability and networking. I am passionate about teaching Maths because I enjoy helping students see that Maths is not something that is impossible but with help even the most complex topics can be broken down simply. It is especially nice when students come back to you with better results more confidence and a big smile. I can teach Mathematics for A-Levels and below. Big fan of football, cricket (which I play competitively for a club in the Surrey Leagues), video games and recently F1 I would like to preferably tutor students in secondary school, however I am open for Primary school students as well.
