Hello, I am from London, but I am currently a second year Dental student at University. I have been tutoring various subjects for over 5 years now, which I have grown to become super passionate about! My favourite hobbies include ballet, piano and violin. I hope on gostudent I can support you with specific subject knowledge and introduce you to useful and EFFECTIVE ways to learn or revise. More importantly I want to help build up your confidence; often you know a-lot more than you think you do. I have completed both GCSE's and A-levels, where I obtained a scholarship to attend a local independent school. I am currently studying at Dentistry at University, hoping to become a dentist. I have been tutoring both within my school, online and in a local Kumon tuition centre since year 10, with experience tutoring in a group and 1:1. Through my experience I have gained an in depth knowledge of exam boards, with an ability to tailor students learning to achieved a top grade. I myself know how effective having a 1:1 tutor can be especially when dealing with stressful exams. My name is Alinah Mampiti Thakhuli, and I am a passionate, hardworking, and dedicated university student currently completing my final year of a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry at North-West University. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, which have strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging way. Teaching has always been one of my greatest passions. I am currently in my final year of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry at North-West University (NWU), South Africa. I am currently studying Law at University and have over a year of tutoring experience. I find it really rewarding to help students achieve their greatest potential and enjoy tutoring. I am currently studying for my bachelors degree in Law at the University of Birmingham and I have A-levels in Law, English Literature and Criminology. I achieved 8s in both English Language & Literature at GCSE, furthering this to A-level. I enjoy essay-based subjects!

I attended the University of Nottingham, graduating July 2026 and on-track for a first class! During my time, I studied Natural Sciences for my Bachelor's Degree and Chemistry for my Master's Degree.
