Hi students! I am a first-year, undergraduate Civil and structural Engineering student at the University of Leeds with a passion for problem-solving and boosting your grades. Previously, I have mentored and tutored Edexcel GCSE maths at multiple secondary schools and achieved triple A at A Levels as well as privately tutoring Edexcel A Level Maths. My teaching style involves explanation, application and recall, and is tailored to every student's learning style. As well as students, I often find myself explaining concepts to my peers, always seeking to benefit the learning of others. Hi, I’m Isabelle. I am an undergraduate student studying Biomedical Systems Engineering at the University of Warwick. While in Year 12, I helped students who were struggling with maths in booster sessions offered by my school. These were targeted at Year 11 students to ensure they were confident before their exams. During my A-levels I taught myself AS-level Further Maths as it was not a subject offered by my school. This helped me to discover effective methods to learn and understand content. I became Head Girl of my school and engaged in student council meetings, which allowed me to understand how we can help students more. I am patient, a great listener, and I firmly believe that anyone can become better with enough support. A-levels: 2025 Quinton House School Grade A*: Mathematics Grade A: Physics, Chemistry, and AS Further Mathematics GCSEs: 2023 Quinton House School Grade 9: Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and French Grade 8: History Grade 6: English Language and English Literature I am currently studying a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Systems Engineering.

My lessons will be interactive, detailed and adapt to your needs, it will be a safe space to learn and understand different topics. I look forward to sharing my love for knowledge with you! I completed the International Baccalaureate where I went to study 6 subjects in sixth form at Dartford grammar, (rather than the typical 3 A levels). I then completed a degree in biomedical sciences (1st class dissertation), then went straight into my Masters. I am now in my final year of my masters studying to be a Physician Associate!

Hello! My name is Anna Mai, and I am a passionate and dedicated tutor currently studying to become an Early Years Teacher. I have extensive experience working with children and young people in educational settings, and I am committed to helping every student build confidence, develop their skills, and achieve their full potential. Alongside my studies, I work in a Montessori setting and part-time in afterschool care, where I support children's learning, social development, and overall wellbeing. These roles have given me valuable experience in adapting lessons and activities to suit different learning styles and abilities. I understand that every child learns differently, and I enjoy finding creative and engaging ways to make learning enjoyable and accessible. I also spent three years teaching and studying abroad, which broadened my understanding of education and allowed me to work with students from diverse backgrounds. This experience strengthened my communication skills, adaptability, and ability to build positive relationships with learners and their families. As a tutor, I strive to create a supportive, encouraging, and patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. Whether a student needs help building foundational skills, improving academic performance, or gaining confidence in a particular subject, I am dedicated to providing personalised support that meets their individual needs. I am kind, caring, reliable, and enthusiastic about education. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically but also to foster a love of learning that will benefit them throughout their lives. I look forward to supporting students on their educational journey and helping them reach their goals. I am currently studying Early Years and Childhood Studies at University College Cork (UCC), where I am developing a strong understanding of child development, early childhood education, inclusive practice, and effective teaching methodologies. My studies have provided me with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills that enable me to support children's learning and development in a meaningful and engaging way. In addition to my current studies, I spent three years studying abroad in the ITEPS International Teacher Education for Primary Schools programme. This international teacher education programme gave me valuable experience in primary education, exposing me to a range of teaching approaches, educational systems, and multicultural learning environments. Studying and teaching alongside people from diverse backgrounds strengthened my communication, adaptability, and intercultural skills while deepening my passion for education. Alongside my academic background, I have gained extensive practical experience working with children. I currently work in a Montessori setting, where I support children's learning through child-centred, hands-on activities that encourage independence, creativity, and confidence. I also work part-time in afterschool care, assisting children with homework, organising educational and recreational activities, and supporting their social and emotional development. These experiences have allowed me to work with children of different ages, abilities, and learning styles, helping me develop strong skills in behaviour support, lesson planning, communication, and student engagement. I am passionate about helping children achieve their full potential and creating a positive, supportive learning environment where they feel confident to learn, grow, and succeed. My combination of university study, international teacher education experience, and hands-on work with children has equipped me with the knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm needed to support students on their educational journey.
