I have been a tutor for 2 years, specialising in Maths and English, but I am comfortable teaching a range of subjects. I am in my second year of university studying Law, which has given me many skills such as attention to detail and a strong work ethic. I transfer these qualities to tutoring, and my priority is helping students excel in their studies by providing effective and engaging lessons that tailor to each child's needs. I completed my GCSEs in The Abbey School and my A levels in Kendrick School, achieving results of a high standard that I was proud of. I am now studying Law in university, which has been a passion of mine for many years. My education journey has provided me with joyful and beneficial experiences, as well as challenges that have developed my resilience and shaped me as a person.

Hi! I'm Favour, I have experience tutoring students who are studying English language and Literature for their GCSE's. As a tutor I aim to breakdown questions & lessons to go along with the students' pace. During lessons I use the students interest to channel their learning & I am patient to ensure they get the most of the time. For example I once used a students' sports interest to breakdown the structure question in the AQA language paper 1 question 3. What I love the most about tutoring (apart from spreading knowledge of course) is getting to know, learn and see students develop. I’m a first-year Business student at Nottingham and an International Baccalaureate graduate, offering friendly and reliable tutoring. I understand exam pressure and workload, and I help students build confidence, clear understanding, and strong study habits. Alongside academics, I’ve represented Scotland at U21 netball, so I bring discipline, motivation, and a positive attitude to every session. I studied at Wellington College, where I achieved strong GCSE results with grades 7–9 across my subjects and took on a demanding academic and co‑curricular workload. I then completed the International Baccalaureate, scoring 39 points, including high marks in my higher‑level subjects.
