Hi, I'm Matty and I am a first year mechanical engineering student at the university of Sheffield looking to tutor physics at GCSE. I'm a patient, relaxed person who has always had a passion for learning and teaching physics. I believe I have a great process for learning sciences, especially physics, that produces deep understanding and great results. For Chemistry, I have worked with students across many topics such as bonding, calculations, reactions, and organic chemistry, often using clear explanations and practice questions to make abstract ideas feel more concrete. I have worked with students who have learning difficulties, those who need extra support as well as those aiming for top grades. Above all, I try to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My aim is not just to improve results, but to help students feel more confident, capable, and prepared for their exams. Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, graduating with First Class Honours in 2024. Achieved excellent A-Level results in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry, earning grades A and A*.
