Hi! I’m Amarachi, a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Nottingham. I teach maths and chemistry, and I’m passionate about making these subjects engaging and easy to understand. As a patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic tutor, I enjoy helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and practicing taekwondo, and I always appreciate getting to know my students' interests as well. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Chemical Engineering at the University of Nottingham. At A level, I achieved grades A in Chemistry, Physics, and Maths, and at GCSE, I earned grades 8–9 in Triple Science, Maths, French and English Literature and Language. My name is Whitman, and I am a third-year at the University of Chicago studying Astrophysics and Economics with a minor in Classics. Originally born in New York City, I grew up in London my entire life where I completed the IB Diploma. Outside of academics, I row at UChicago, play piano, and love to read. I am currently studying Astrophysics and Economics with a minor in Classics at the University of Chicago. I also completed my IB Diploma with HL Maths AA, HL Physics, HL Economics, HL History, SL English Lang. & Lit., and SL Spanish B. My specialisations include all of my HL subjects, and also Spanish as after graduating highschool I lived and worked in Argentina.

Hi, I’m Maki Mary, an enthusiastic and patient tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence in Science and Mathematics. I believe students learn best when they understand the ideas behind a topic rather than simply memorising facts or formulas. My goal is to make lessons engaging, supportive, and easy to follow, while encouraging students to ask questions, think critically, and develop strong problem-solving skills. In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar and singing, which helps me relax and stay creative. I graduated with a degree in Electronics Engineering and am a licensed Electronics Engineer. My academic background provided me with a strong foundation in Mathematics, Science, logical reasoning, and problem-solving. My professional experience in Quality Assurance and Control has further strengthened my analytical, technical, and documentation skills. I also completed my TEFL certification and achieved a C2 Proficient level in the EF SET English test, supporting my ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to learners.
