I'm a Mathematics and Data Science graduate of the London School of Economics, and I now run a startup that uses machine learning in drug discovery, so I put the maths I teach to work every day. I studied Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Chemistry at A-level, earning an A* in Maths, and I'm a two-time gold medallist in the National Physics Olympiad. I tutor Maths, Physics and Computer Science from GCSE through A-level, and I also prepare students for university admissions tests and Oxbridge applications. Having recently sat these exams myself, I know exactly where students get stuck. My approach is patient and diagnostic: I find the gap, rebuild from there, and focus on real understanding and problem-solving rather than memorising. Most of all, I love helping students go from dreading a subject to feeling confident and capable in it. I attended St Paul's School, where I took A-levels in Mathematics (A*), Physics (A), Computer Science (A) and Chemistry (A), along with an A* EPQ in electrical and systems engineering. At GCSE I earned seven grade 9s, including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science, and four grade 8s. I then studied for a BSc in Mathematics and Data Science at the London School of Economics (LSE), with coursework spanning machine learning, optimisation, real and complex analysis, probability and statistics, graph theory and algorithms. Alongside my degree I completed Harvard's CS50 and an MIT course in mathematics for finance. My specialisations are Maths, Physics and Computer Science at GCSE and A-level, and preparing students for university admissions tests (STEP, TMUA and ESAT) and Oxbridge applications. I'm also a two-time gold medallist in the National Physics Olympiad, which is exactly the kind of problem-solving these entrance exams reward.

Hi! My name is Hector, and I am a 3rd year Biochemistry Student at The University of Warwick. My aim is to help people feel confident in Biology. As a university student, I understand how frustrating it can be when a topic just doesn't make sense. My approach is patient and clearly structured, with a focus on making sure the student not only knows what the answer is, but why it is the answer. Outside of my studies I enjoy going to the gym, playing padel and reading. I hope you will find my lessons enjoyable! I attended The Portsmouth Grammar School where I completed my GCSEs and A Levels. I studied Biology, Chemisty and Maths at A Level. After A Levels I took a year out where I worked as a ski instructor, gaining a Level 2 CSIA qualification, which allowed me to work with a large variety of clients. Currently, I am in my 3rd year of Biochemistry at The University of Warwick with a predicted First-Class, after which I'm going to undertake a masters. I'm love all biology, but my studies currently focus on oncology and molecular cell biology.

I love languages! I am able to teach french and spanish in lower level, GCSE and A-level! I have been tutor for the last 7 years to people that range from 15 to 60 years old. Although I prefer working with adult students, I am also open to working with teenagers! I am experienced in the british exam system. I have been a tutor with GS for more than two years now! :) Being from Colombia, Spanish is my native language. However, I speak English and french fluently and I study other languages such as German, Dutch, Italian and Portuguese. As I have more experience tutoring French, I prefer students that are interested in this language. The thing I love the most about languages is how it broadens your way of thinking to unimagined borders.
