I’m Ashwini! I'm currently doing a Masters in Natural Sciences specialising in Maths and Physics. I tutor online for GCSE and A-level Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Combined Science. I love helping students get that “click” moment, turning tricky topics into something clear, confident, and even enjoyable! Lessons are high-energy but structured: we build understanding fast, practise the skills that earn marks, and get real progress. Outside tutoring I play piano, rock climb, train in the gym/boxing and enjoy art. I’m currently studying a Masters in Natural Sciences at Durham University, specialising primarily in Mathematics and Physics. My degree is highly quantitative and has given me strong problem-solving, clear mathematical communication, and the ability to break complex ideas into simple, teachable steps. This background means I’m particularly strong at teaching key GCSE and A-level areas where students often get stuck: building physical intuition in mechanics (forces, moments, energy, motion), vectors, and the maths that underpins progress: algebra, trigonometry, and calculus (differentiation and integration) taught in an exam-focused, step-by-step way. I also studied Chemistry modules in my first year, which strengthened both my subject knowledge and my ability to teach Chemistry clearly. I’m confident supporting students with the parts of Chemistry that often feel hardest: moles, organic chemistry, bonding and structure, equilibria, acids and bases, and practical-style questions where method matters. Overall, my education means I can help students not just memorise content, but understand it well enough to apply it confidently in exam questions.

I’m passionate about teaching Biology and Chemistry and inspiring young people to enjoy and understand science. I love helping others learn, building their confidence and sharing my knowledge in an engaging way. I have recently completed my three-year Law degree and am about to begin my Master’s. Outside of studying and teaching, I enjoy reading, writing, travelling, learning languages and exercising. I also care deeply about our planet and enjoy working on projects that can help create a better future. My education has taken place across Canada, India, Estonia and the UK, giving me valuable experience of different education systems, teaching styles and learning environments. Studying in different countries has helped me develop a broad perspective on education and understand that every student learns in their own way. I recently completed my three-year LLB Law degree in the UK and am now preparing to begin a Master’s in Law, with the long-term goal of completing a PhD. Alongside Law, I have studied Biology, Chemistry and other science-related subjects and have completed additional courses to develop my knowledge and skills. My background across both science and law has strengthened my analytical, research and problem-solving abilities.
