Hi, I’m Eva! I’m 19 years old and currently studying Business Management at the University of Nottingham, where I’m about to begin my second year. I’m passionate about learning, personal development, and helping others achieve their goals, which is why I’m excited to offer online tutoring. During my A-levels, I studied Business, Law, and Physical Education. These subjects gave me a strong understanding of how businesses operate, how the legal system supports organisations and individuals, and the importance of teamwork, discipline, and communication. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students can face and know how valuable clear explanations and supportive guidance can be. Alongside my studies, I play netball for the University of Nottingham. Netball has been a huge part of my life, and I love everything about the sport. It has taught me important skills such as teamwork, resilience, leadership, and time management, all of which I bring to my tutoring sessions. Balancing university studies with competitive sport has also helped me develop excellent organisation and commitment. Outside of university, I’m a proud Liverpool FC supporter and enjoy keeping up with football. I also love spending time with my friends, whether that’s exploring new places, socialising, or simply relaxing after a busy week. As a tutor, my aim is to create a positive, friendly, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence. I believe everyone learns differently, so I tailor my approach to suit each individual’s needs and learning style. Whether you’re looking for help understanding difficult topics, preparing for exams, or improving your overall confidence in Business or Law, I’m committed to helping you reach your full potential. I know from my own experience how rewarding it is to have someone who explains things clearly and offers support when learning becomes challenging. I hope to be that person for my students, making lessons enjoyable, engaging, and productive while helping them achieve the best results they can. At school I achieved 3 A*’s in Business Studies, Law and Physical Education. In Buisness I studied core areas such as marketing, HR, strategic decision making and finance, and particularly enjoyed applying theory to real life scenarios. In Law I covered criminal law, contract law, public law, negligence and more. In PE I did netball as my practical sport and loved learning about the history of sport eg, the olympics. I also achieved 10 GCSE’s all ranging from grade 7-9

Hi there. James here, from South Africa. I taught in London in Walthamstow for my probationary year in 1991, and then in Johannesburg and Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa for a total of 21 years. I have taught Cambridge A Level History and England and South Africa's English and History curricula. I am also a published researcher, poet, and author. I enjoy cross-country running. I like NETFLIX mystery series. I regularly get out wilderness walking and cross country swimming. Since February 2025, I tutor English and Religious Studies for GoStudent. I battled with learning difficulties at school. However, I did very well after school, because I knew that English opens doors. So, I set goals. Then I achieved a B.A (1985) and a B. Ed (1996) degree, at Wits University in Johannesburg. I did a Masters Degree in Theology (Regent College, Vancouver, B.C., 2001) and a PhD in Church History (University of KwaZulu-Natal, 2016). I believe education is a lifelong journey. We master English every day for the rest of our lives. So I'm still learning as I tutor GCSE students, A Level students, and juniors, to reach their highest goals.

University student currently doing an MSci in Biomedical Sciences, with a passion for lab research. I also love to write in my spare time. My goal as a tutor is to help students be proud of the work they have accomplished and find their own interests, not just pass their exams. I attended Wildern Secondary School, leaving with ten GCSEs, all at grades 8 and 9. I then attended Barton Peveril Sixth Form College, doing A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and English Language & Literature as well as an EPQ. I achieved BBAA* for these subjects.

As a University of Southampton Graduate in Biology and Marine Biology, my passion for the life sciences shape both my professional and personal life. I love hiking in the countryside and SCUBA diving. Engaging with diverse ecosystems firsthand allows me to bring authentic context, enthusiasm, and practical examples to my tutoring sessions. Currently training as a teacher via the SCITT pathway, bringing up-to-date classroom experience to my tutoring. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Biology & Marine Biology from the University of Southampton, alongside A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, giving me a strong foundation across the sciences.
