Hello, I am a passionate and patient tutor with a degree in Economics and Finance. I teach students of different ages and subjects, helping them develop strong foundations and effective problem-solving skills. I love tutoring because it allows me to make a positive impact on students' academic journeys and help them reach their full potential. My hobbies include training, caring for animals and cooking. I also enjoy reading about astronomy and manga. My name is Whitman, and I am a third-year at the University of Chicago studying Astrophysics and Economics with a minor in Classics. Originally born in New York City, I grew up in London my entire life where I completed the IB Diploma. Outside of academics, I row at UChicago, play piano, and love to read. I am currently studying Astrophysics and Economics with a minor in Classics at the University of Chicago. I also completed my IB Diploma with HL Maths AA, HL Physics, HL Economics, HL History, SL English Lang. & Lit., and SL Spanish B. My specialisations include all of my HL subjects, and also Spanish as after graduating highschool I lived and worked in Argentina.

I’m a native Spanish speaker an theatre nurse from Argentina, TEFL-certified, and experienced in teaching English and Spanish to students of all ages. I use a communicative, student-centred approach, helping learners gain confidence, improve fluency, and reach their goals in a friendly, supportive environment. I hold a university qualification in teaching English as a Second Language and have been a certified TEFL teacher since 2014. I also trained as a theatre nurse in Buenos Aires, which developed my communication, organisation, and patience — skills I bring to my teaching practice.

A junior Finance manager in the NHS.Previously a primary class teacher. I have been tutoring maths and all sciences for 8 years. I have experience working with ages from 5-16 and also experienced working with SEN students. Experience of tutoring online and in person therefore able to adapt to students learning. Achieved A*-A’s in GCses for maths and triple science . Continued with maths and science into A-levels. Also studied further maths at GCses and also able to teach it . Can also help with student who study Statistics GCSE. I can also aid in 11+ students as i am familiar.
