Hi! I’m Erin, a 20 year old full time University student studying a masters degree in Astrophysics at the University of Birmingham. I love musicals and performing with my accapella group at uni. I also do a lot of running and love playing ice hockey. In my A-levels I achieved an A* A-level Physics and an A in A-level Chemistry and Maths. I also have 10 GCSEs, with a 9 in Physics, Biology and Food Preparation and Technology, along with an 8 in maths and 8/7 in all other subjects. I have been a tutor of GCSE for a year and also completed work experience at Kielder Observatory!

I'm a first year medical student in London dedicated to teaching my students how to engage with their learning and achieve their academic goals. I tutor for GCSE Maths and Science for a variety of exam boards, such as AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas. As a full time student, I empathise with the difficulties students may encounter while navigating their chosen subjects of study. Having achieved 9-9-9-8 in my GCSEs three years ago, I am certain that I can enable my students to approach their learning with confidence. My first priority as a tutor is making my students feel comfortable with topics they feel are the most daunting, so they can eventually progress to tackling unfamiliar scenarios in questions. I teach using a wide variety of learning techniques, so that my students can explore what works best for them.
