Hi! I’m Antrea, a Product Design Engineering student at Loughborough University with a strong passion for maths and problem-solving. I enjoy supporting GCSE students in building confidence, improving their skills, and reaching their full potential. My lessons are friendly, clear, and tailored to each student’s learning style, helping to make even the toughest topics feel more manageable. I’m committed to creating an encouraging environment where students can succeed and feel proud of their progress. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering at Loughborough University. I have graduated high school with a 19.9/20 Apolytyrion Certificate, in the following subjects: Maths, (Mechanics, A-Level) Physics, (A-Level), Design and Technology (A-Level), Geography (AS-Level) and Greek (Native, A-Level), Art, Craft and Design (A-Level). In all these subjects I achieved an A, with an A* in Art and Greek. I have experience sharing knowledge, organising meetings and lessons since founding and forming my high school's Engineering Club, which I was also president of.

Levels and Subjects I teach: I’m an English and History teacher with GoStudent. I can teach these at GCSE and A Level. As a professional writer I can offer academic and creative writing classes to adults and higher level students. I am a teacher of environmental science. I have an MSc in Conservation Ecology and extensive field experience in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Having studied and worked as a professional actor, I can also offer Drama/Acting classes to A Level. Languages: Apart from English, I'm also a fluent Spanish speaker. Preferred student age groups: I prefer to work with students from 10 years and older (to adults), however I have worked with students from 6 years up. About me: I have been a professional travel, environment, and creative writer for the last 20 years, and a teacher for the last 9. I have a background in acting, drama and conservation ecology and when it comes to teaching I draw on these skills to make my classes as fun, dynamic, and interesting as possible. I often use roleplay, music, media, and games to enhance students learning and understanding. Learning is so much easier when it’s fun and thought-provoking. I teach students from young children to the executives of large companies. Outside of my roles as teacher and writer I have also worked as an actor, journalist, conservationist and professional mountain and nature tour guide and tour designer. I love wildplaces. When not working, I love hiking, film, theatre, acting, travel, snorkelling, diving, photography, and martial arts. I also run workshops in creative writing. I have an MSc in Conservation Ecology from Oxford Brookes University. I decided to do this degree after living and working in Latin America, Africa and South East Asia for many years. Living and working as a guide, writer, and conservationist in these places inspired my love of the natural world. My degree is in acting and performance art. I was lucky enough to attend East 15 Acting School (which is now part of the University of East London) to study. I worked as an actor for many years, and I often include roleplay and drama in my lessons. For my A levels I studied English (A), Art (A) and Geography (B).

GCSE Subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Combined Science Exam Board Experience: AQA, Edexcel Preferred Student Age Group: GCSE Hi, I’m Hagen, a third-year Pharmacy student at the University of Reading with a strong background in biology and chemistry. Before university, I achieved top marks in BTEC Applied Science, and my degree has continued to build on that foundation through detailed scientific study. I tutor GCSE Combined Science, Biology, and Chemistry, focusing on helping students properly understand topics rather than just memorising facts. I know science can become confusing quickly when concepts start building on each other, so I aim to explain things clearly, break them down into simple steps, and make them feel more manageable. My teaching style is patient, straightforward, and focused on what actually helps students improve. I want students to feel more confident with the subject, not just get through the lesson. I understand that different students learn at different paces, which is why I keep my explanations clear, structured, and tailored to how each individual learns best. Alongside my academic studies, I have experience teaching and guiding others through my role as an NCO in the Army Cadets, which helped me develop strong communication skills and a structured approach to helping people learn. My aim is to make science feel more approachable and to help students build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve stronger results. MPharm (Master of Pharmacy) | University of Reading 2023 – 2028 My degree is building a strong foundation across the key sciences behind medicines and healthcare, including biology, chemistry, pharmacology, and patient-focused practice. Studying Pharmacy has strengthened my ability to understand complex scientific material, apply knowledge in a structured way, and explain difficult ideas clearly. BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Applied Science | North Hertfordshire College Grades: Triple Distinction Star (D*D*D) This qualification provided me with an intensive, practical background in both advanced biology and chemistry, preparing me directly for the rigorous demands of a healthcare degree. GCSEs | Dame Alice Owen’s School Completed my secondary education at a highly respected, top-performing school, securing the essential foundational qualifications required for higher-level scientific study. Healthcare & Industry Experience I have gained valuable experience in professional science and healthcare environments through working as a pharmacy assistant and completing work experience with GSK (GlaxoSmithKline). These roles have given me a broader understanding of how chemistry and biology are applied in real-world clinical and industrial settings, which I bring directly into my teaching.

I’m a 4th-year medical student studying abroad, with a strong academic background in A-Level Maths, Chemistry and Biology, achieving A grades in all three subjects. I offer tutoring in GCSE and A-Level Maths, Biology and Chemistry, and I’m passionate about helping students build both their confidence and understanding of the subjects. I first gained teaching experience through mentoring students during high school, particularly in GCSE Maths and Biology. Since then, I’ve worked with a number of students over the past few years, helping them work towards their academic goals and make significant progress. Seeing students become more confident and independent in their learning is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring for me. I believe that every student learns differently, so I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. I take the time to understand what a student is struggling with, how they learn best, and what they want to achieve, and then adapt my lessons accordingly. I also make sure to prepare thoroughly before each lesson, so that our time together is focused and productive. Whether you need help understanding difficult topics, practising exam questions, improving your exam technique, or simply building confidence, I aim to make lessons clear, engaging and tailored to you. As someone who has been through GCSEs and A-Levels myself, I understand how overwhelming exams can feel. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them feel more confident, prepared and in control of their learning. Now that I am studying Medicine at university, I have continued to develop my knowledge and understanding of Biology and Chemistry, while also maintaining a strong foundation in Maths. I therefore feel confident in my ability to explain concepts clearly and help students tackle challenging topics. However, I also believe that being a good tutor means being honest and willing to learn. If there is ever a topic or question that I am unsure about, I will take the time to research and understand it properly before explaining it to my student. This ensures that I can provide accurate, well-prepared and clear explanations rather than simply giving an answer.
