I understand that studying can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I always aim to create a calm, supportive, and friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I explain topics in a clear and simple way and adapt my approach to suit different learning styles. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, going on walks, swimming, and spending time with friends and family. I believe that though hard work you can achieve anything you put your mind too! I am currently studying a Biomedical Engineering degree, but having only recently left secondary education I hope that I will be able to support and guide students towards their goals. I offer Biology, Physics and Maths. I studied my GCSEs and A-levels at my local secondary school, I received 4 As at A-level (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). I have always enjoyed science and Maths hence why I decided to study Biomedical Engineering at the Univeristy of Sheffield.

"Hi Christine, Diarmuid here. I just got my results and I got the 2nd highest German grade you can get. You helped me so much and I can't thank you enough." Hello there! My name is Christine and I am a junior doctor. I have always been passionate about learning and sharing knowledge in a manner that's simple and enjoyable. With over 5 years tutoring experience, I focus on an engaging, holistic, and student-centric approach to tutoring, whilst sharing my passion and love for learning! I firmly believe the key to mastering anything is understanding the basics and then weaving them together to gain the bigger picture. I have worked diligently to hone my skils over the years, even applying them in my own studies in the medical field, and have been able to get testimonials such as the one above and: "Hi Christina only to let you know Felipe had a 6 in biology which is very good compared with the 3 in January! Hope we can work together from September. So, thank you x" - Pilar "Just to let you know Yousef passed all his GCSEs. Thank you." - Naz "Hii, it’s Mike. I just wanted to say thank you so much for helping me this year and I wouldn’t have done it without your help and support." During the sessions, I work with my students through the agreed upon topic paying close attention to the core concepts, we go through some exam-style questions, and also learn how to frame the answers in the way examiners expect. I also share effecting studying and memory techniques to enable them to better learn and master their content. In my spare time, I enjoy singing (I'm currently taking a music theory class and hope to progress to one day play the cello) and dancing. These help me unwind and also have fun! I look forward to extending this interesting mixture of fun and learning to my students and help the strike that oh-so-elusive balance between work and play so that they can become the best versions of themselves. Would you like to have similar testimonials as these? "hellooooo! hope your doing well. it’s the results day today, just letting you know that i got a 7 in german!! i am very happy with the results, thank you so much for all of your help i definitely wouldn’t have got this if it wasn’t for you 😁" - Shangami "Hello Christine, I hope you have had a good summer. Alastair wanted you to know he passed GCSE combined. He got 55 Score for his GCSE. He is now going to do A levels and considering btec science to compliment a level PE. Thank you for your support, you really made a difference." - Jill I'm available to work together with you/your student and I'm excited to help them achieve their highest potential. See you soon! For secondary school, i went to North Chadderton school in Greater Manchester where i received 2 nines, 5 eights, two sevens, and a five (in Spanish). I also went to sixth form at North Chadderton, where i studied biology, chemistry, and physics, receiving 2 A's and B respectively.

Hi! I’m Jasnit, a second-year medical student and a friendly, enthusiastic Maths and Science tutor. I enjoy helping students build both their confidence and understanding, and I aim to make lessons clear, engaging and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I achieved Grade 9s in GCSE Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry, alongside A* grades in A-Level Biology and Chemistry and an A in A-Level Maths. Having recently gone through these exams myself, I understand how challenging certain topics can feel and how important it is to have the right support. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your foundations, improve your grades or prepare for exams, I’ll work at your pace and help you develop the knowledge, confidence and exam skills you need to succeed. I am a second-year Medical student at the University of Birmingham, having completed my A-Levels at Wolverhampton Girls’ High School, achieving A* grades in Biology and Chemistry and an A in Mathematics. I completed my GCSEs at Queen Mary’s High School, achieving Grade 9s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. My specialisations are Maths and the Sciences, particularly Biology.
